Fair call. It's up to you at the end of the day.

I'm not on my PS3 heaps (e.g. not on a daily basis). So when I get messaged for a game the following day and I haven't been on for couple of days, it's likely that's not going to happen. I would consider myself active (2-3 games a week) but not on day and night.

Unfortunately I'm quite busy at the moment so scheduling doesn't work too good for me. Being quite honest - I play PS3 when I feel like a bit of leisure time. With a stack of other commitments on at the moment I don't want to be setting in stone times when I have to be online. That just sucks the fun out of gaming for me if I set a time, then decide when that time comes that I'd actually rather be doing something else.. If I'm on at the same time as a user and we have an upcoming game I'll try and play them. But yeah, sounds like you're running a tighter ship than that ;)

No worries either way. Obviously there's a trade-off. You get those reward points, but in the long run it's probably more fun having more users. Unless you guys are happy only having like 5/30 teams as users, because there's no way you'll get to 10 guys being that active on a daily basis. Unfortunately it seems that the days sim too quickly in online association, if there was a setting to make the time window a bit longer it'd probably attract (and keep) a lot more players..
 
Well....Orlando have hit the skids gone from 6-2 to 8-5

Had an interesting trade offered to me.....what to do....?

Yeah I've already missed EmVeeSpree and Jimbo...bye bye 55 points...
 
You can choose a slower cycle when you create the league Jimbo. This league was supposed to be a quick one for the very active guys. Don't mind if there is only 5 users as long as they're around.

Maybe start a league that cycles a lot slower. Sounds like it would suit your current lifestyle a little better Jimbo.
 
I don't think I could play a slower league now....
It would just seem slow

Got a game due Vs Jaames next but doesn't seem to be around
 
Finally got another game done. Raptors downed by 15. Was up 26 at 3/4 time, but my bench got killed 19 rebounds to 8 in the last to be outscored by 11. Gay had 17/1/1/1 in 17mins, Green was POG with 12/7/4/4 steals also in 17mins. Augustin continued on his merry way on his way up with 10/1/6/1/1. Was happy to see Lopez get active with 8/4 off the bench and Maynor was 3/1/5 while deep in contract extension negotiations.

In between this game and my last I had a sim loss to EmVeeSpree and a sim win Vs Jimbo. So I'm sitting at 7-1.
 
yeah im about have to games simmed as well mate , jaames is no longer around and not sure whats happening with jimbo ,man this is annoying havent played now for 2 days
 
Had a sim loss overnight. I knew I'd have it simmed, but was too tired last night to play it.

Was just playing my game with John, Keefy, and it cut out in the 3rd when I was up 14...and gave him the sim win... oh the joys of 2k ey. Cousins had a nice double double too! Not too worried about the loss...I can cover it I'm sure, but just the annoyance of losing the stats and the fun of playing... ahhhhh!

Okay. Seems we have different definitions of "active". I can't figure out how you guys have the time to be online for a couple of hours, on literally a daily basis. But no worries. Boot me away ;)

And nah I won't start a league. Maybe later... For now it's just MP and my own association ;)

Too slow? 6 hours as the equivalent of 1 NBA day is pretty damn fast... It was like a whirlwind to me. Log out with a record of 3-3, sign back in 48 hours later and you've missed 5 games.. LOL!

:lol: I'll give it a crack :D We'll see if the game chooses me this season.

Still weighing up trade options...I have far too many draft picks for the number of roster spots. Think I need a draft pick fire sale! Was happy to have gotten Holt in my trade with Phoenix. Holt and Sparks were my 2 late 1st round picks I wanted, and now I have both :D Not sure about my open trade I have on the table now...having 2nd thoughts.

Is Jimbo leaving the league? Dallas have some enticing trade options :lol:
 
I've made a few trade offers too...bit risky after my 10-0 start but i know the game can turn on me at any moment.

Jimbo is leaving, but now or Sunday night? He has had sim games against every single user team in the league except Steppy who he plays Sunday night. Do we allow that game to sim 1st before Jimbo leaves or just say, "whatever " and do it now. Again, i'm only thinking about every user team having an equal chance at the '55 Reward Points Goal'

As for Jaames, he is still M.I.A.
 
yeah you can wait til it sims, jims game is a few days away but pretty sure my game with jaames is now simmed , didnt even reply to any of my messages , this season has been shocking i havent even played a game now for 4 days and still have only 3 games available so have no idea why people are say it advances to quick , every team has a different time table so i guess i am gonna have a few games to play soon :)

12 of my first 13 games were Vs CPU and the user was a sim to Jimbo. So i'm going to have a flood of user games all at once soon.

M.I.A is Missing In Action.
 
yeah i started with 4 games against the computer than there has been a hold up with games against jaames and jimbo but just noticed i have a game against air diddy that is now open , stoked finally get to play a game lol

Yeh my thoughts exactly. I'm 7-0 in games I have actually played...and games that haven't cut out. My 3 losses were cpu sim, EmVeePreee sim and Keefy cut-out sim. And I tabled perhaps a crazy trade offer nearly a week ago now. It hinges though on whether I can resign a restricted FA by going over the salary cap...that is assuming the trade gets accepted. If it does, I could actually lose ALOT for nothing if I can't resign the player. But otherwise, the trade is pretty darn equal IMO. So much so, that I have 2nd thoughts about it :lol:
