This was such a fun break, and even the base cards look sweet, would probably be upper tier inserts in todays unimaginative releases, the slick silver acetate cards in particular are really nice.

Agree with everything you said, but I don't think they search boxes or packs.
I did hit a John Wall auto from a single Contenders box I purchased. I also pulled a MJ auto from 2 loose boxes of Ultimate and a Kobe auto from a single limited box. But yeah...The boxes sucks most the times....

P.S. my friend pulled a Griffin McDonald auto from 2 loose Topps Jumbo PACKS!!:kick:

Just looking at the website and video of the warehouse i sont think they are searching boxes. The business is just too big.

Thanks for the good feedback - will have to buy some boxes from these guys.

Service is awesome prices are 3/4 of the price of australian sellers, takes four days from the time you post your order to the time it arrives at your doorstep so dont believe the crap that some of them say that it takes 4 weeks. (I HAVE NEVER WAITED LONGER THAN 4 DAYS) postage price varies from 28 dollars to say 45 depending how heavy the stuff you get is but if you buy 4 or 5 things it works out to being 5 or 6 dollars per item, still cheaper than here and i have pulled some sweet mojo from them including a kobe lithograph auto numbered to 24 cant go wrong mate your odds are just as good there as anywhere else. best advice i can give is do an order through them and do the maths its a pretty smart way to buy

Dude! would people keep going back to them if they were searching boxes use your brains they're the biggest card sellers in the world you dont get there by cheating all your customers

Yeah I'd have to say their definitely on the level. And their very quick to respond to Q's, only thing is I don't think they carry a lot of older stock at one time, was all hypeto grab a box of 08/09 Press Pass Legends but I think some bad man on here beat me to the punch brought 4 boxes, but definitely happy with what I got. And yeah unless you just want to buy one box I don't think it's really a discussion as to whether to import or buy locally, from what I've seen local prices are way to jacked up...think someone said 3/4 of AUS prices I'd peg it more often than not at 1/2 and don't forget the strong aussie $ so you make even more of a saving.

D&A are the shizz ! Super service, massive range, great prices - even more so with the strong Aussie dollar. I usually order Wednesday or Thursday night and it arrives Monday. Struggle to get normal post here in Oz to be that quick ! Sure you pay for the shipping, but the cheap box prices make up for it...
If you place regular large orders, you'll likely qualify for "Premier" customer status that will get you even better prices...

Oh and their stuff is definitely not searched...I pulled Bradford and Tebow Auto's from a single Playoff Absolute box...the hottest NFL rookies at the time...Everything comes in the manufacturer plastic wrapping....

Yeah in hindsight Bradford underappreciated, Tebow so far way overrated. Mate you can probably tell me been thinking of branching out into NFL but I'm scared off by the thought that the base sets must be like 500 cards plus, and good inserts would be even harder to pull. Plus is there much of a buyer/seller market in OZ?

Bradford should have a good year under McDaniel's offensive system. All he does is throw the ball - look at Kyle Orton's numbers over the past 2 years:worthy:

Well I'm a Bengals fan so looks as though we're rebuilding again if Carson continues to be a dick, but hopefully A.J Green is like Ocho without the attitude not the 2nd coming of Peter Warrick or worse yet a bust of Akili Smith standards.

Alas, the days of the massive base set are gone...Really only Topps and Score doing big sets now at least in their basic product, and still not as big as back in the early 90's when there were two series and update sets etc. Now it seems to be all about 3 or 4 stars from each team (if your team has that many!!) and the Rookies. Defensive players rarely get a look in, unless they're League Leaders. Not sure it's a good thing though, especially if you're a team collector like me. I used to enjoy tracking down base cards of the back up Defensive Linemen ! ;-)
Never worried about completing sets that much myself, there's just too much product out there to see so I prefer to chase down cards of my chosen team instead.
Premium releases can deliver some nice hits that bring good prices, but like any sport there are always lots of the also rans.
As for a local market, there probably isn't much...there are a few hardcore NFL collectors around and a few speculators looking for the big hits, but I wouldn't say it's changed much since the height of the hobby back in the mid nineties. It's always been pretty small market share compared to Basketball and Aussie sports...but who knows if ONE keeps up the coverage, maybe new fans and collectors will get interested.....
