saw something that i thought was quite funny.. Gael Clichy said this only two years ago..

"You move to City if you want money, not for football"

that quote was bound to come back and bite him in the @ss...even if he didnt sign for them.
Scholes disses Arsenal
at least he admits they play the prettiest. one thing tho, fergie HAS had a longer drought than 5 years. his first 8 at united werent all that crash hot...
arsene has also never finished worse than 4th. something fergie cant claim. but he wins the trophies, so i doubt he cares about that...

Tevez has come out AGAIN and says that he wants a move! I believe they should let him go and go all out for Samuel Eto'o

I think they've already tried to swap with Eto'o.
I love the reaction from City about Tevez - he has a 3 year contract - we'll sell him when we're ready. And now they'll try and sort something. All this family crap wears thin. I presume he'll go to Aregntina and play for Boca then (they've just been relegated!).
City played great the last few weeks without him (although those goals against Stoke were world class!) so it'll be sad if he leaves but his bipolar situation wears thin....

Forlan has come out and stated that Athletico aren't interested in keeping him for next season.. Who's gonna jump on him?

It was River Plate who were relegated. I'm not sure he'll head back to Argentina. Either Spain or Italy I reckon, whichever his missus is prepared to move to..... tough life choices

I stand corrected....I still reckon it'll be 50/50 he stays at City.....it's not the first time he's said he wants to leave. As for him being a loss - probably right throughout a season but who knows. I'd doubt City won't pick up an attacking player before the end of the year to off set Balotelli, Dzecko, Silva, possibly Adebayor to stay although doubtful....the cupboard isn't exactly bare anyway...

problem is, none of those players really had what it took in front of goals last season. they would need to pick up their game to cover tevez, who outscored all three combined.

True - but with Tevez not playing, they'll get a decent run as #1 and hopefully that'll do the trick. And when Balotelli gets suspended for something we'll have Dzecko ready...

Or perhaps Nasri will be....

Wish I had more faith in the Daily Mail!!

i just read on foxsports a similar story and they used the sun as their source. the sun?! the worst of the worst.
i still dont think hes going anywhere.
i also dont think balotelli will come good. dzeko looks sharp tho...
modric talk sure has calmed down.

Funny - I like Balotelli's chances more although Dzecko needs a good run to be fair....both young enough and just starting out in the EPL....

Yeah the Sun and the DM are running with the Nasri story....

The Sun has Nasri gone to CIty for 20m
The Mirror has Arsenal not selling

I'm led to believe Arsenal have put a 25m buyout clause on him.

Arsenal have a very strict wage structure, so if he forces it enough we'll sell. I still don't think he'll go personally. Reminds me a bit of Keano at Man U when it looked like he was gone for ages, then re-signed.

ive read that 25mill is what it would take for wenger to consider selling. not sure he has an actual buy-out clause...?
ive also read that wenger wants vermaelen to cover clichy's spot, and he wont be buying a replacement.
nasri turned up to pre-season training, if thats a sign of anything...not really.
anyone else heard fergie is looking at aguero? he sure is spending this year...
and pardew says nolan didnt deserve a 5 year contract? wasnt he the captain?! and hes got at least 5 years left in him? his loss. we're more than happy to have him...

Nolan's an excellent player and Newcastle are being run into the ground. To be honest it's sad - It's like watching Donald Sterling run the Clippers.

Arsenal preparing an improved offer to put to Nasri. Although if it's not about money as he said, not sure what good it'll do.

Starting to think, that maybe, Gallas was right

liverpool finally agree on a fee for adam. 7mill plus a player exchange still seems a little light tho. very good buy. hes in liverpool for his medical now...
