2011 NBA FINALS - Dallas v Miami - SPOILERS within!

This series is shaping up to be more epic than even last years 7 game set between 2 storied franchises. I like it. I just Hope, hope, hope Dallas can pull it off!

So he had an off night and plays with 2 guys who were both going for 20+ wasn't an option?? just sayin......

Did you watch the game? The reason I ask, is because if you did, you'd have seen how uncharacteristic his play was. Even last game when he only scored 17 points it seemed like he was being slightly passive. Today he had less than half that amount, so you can only imagine it is at times a bit worrying!

cant see lebron defering and being so passive in the next game, i was surprised that he wasnt even trying to get to the rim, if he had of and wade attacked a little more too like in the previous game and had chandler in foul trouble heat probably would have won, but they didnt and chandler was a machine and the best player on the floor...average night for the tall german, but he did look pooped in the last quarter, think the flu had caught up to him...

I almost get the feeling that LeBron needs to establish his offensive scoring rhythm early otherwise it makes him a non-factor scoring later in the game. It seems like he either goes to the extreme of being a full-out scorer, or being a full-out play-maker.

Know what I mean?

It's almost like he goes into a mind-set that if he's going to be play-maker tonight, he's going to pass to open teammates no matter what. Instead of taking each play as an individual possession and determining whether he will score or pass depending on what the defense is giving him etc.

Actually I have a confession to make - I have a job and didn't see it.:lol::lol:

Before I say anything else I am going to comment on Lebron James's attempt to win the Oscar for flopping.. check out the second angle you get towards the end of the video:

It pisses me off enough when players hardly get touched & they flop... but this was even more extreme, did he even get touched??? I didn't know who I was going for before, but now I want Dallas to win..... Stevenson was right, Miami are a bunch of flopping retards... stop being b*tches & just frackin play!!!!!

Mavs made ONE field goal in the last 5.10 of the game, and still won!!

That's (I think) 43% of the quarter with just a layup. Mad

Well Miami were in the penalty for a good portion of the last quarter, so that explains it a little bit.

I decided to go for Dallas this year:

You the one feeling them up with the painted hands on their legs you dirty bastard!?

Oh & whoever said they are all stunning....... you sure about that

I told you its a conspiracy and Bron's in on it. He'll turn it on game 5 then let the Mavs get one back in Dallas then he'll be on again in game 7 for the win in Miami in front of their home fans :p

Game 5 is in Dallas Nick lol

After watching that video, you can only draw one conclusion.

Lebron is a cheating fag. That is indefensible.

Talk him up now Scottie, Im sure MJ would totally agree that someone who can pull of a weak act like that is THE BEST PLAYER EVER!!!!!

Yeah I can definitely see the parallels between MJ and Lebron now after that game....:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Lebron better find some heart soon or there's going to be a media field day over the off season...that said, Go Mavs!

Yea, Bron has flopped a bit. I hate it. It gets the attention of the refs who assume that unless contact is made, no player will react like that and in game speed it's almost a reactive whistle when they see players flailing like that. That's part of their instructions to make sure that the game doesn't turn into a brawl with excessive contact. I wish an ESPN writer would do an article with video evidence on this and bring it to the NBA's attention. Deshawn did the right thing by calling him out.

LeB!tch!

I really can't understand why a guy that can ball like he can feels the need to look like a right w@nker by doing this sort of crap... Im all for playing for the foul and making sure of it, but theres a big difference to taking a hit and making sure you get the call to just flopping around like a dying fish... Seriously, both those situations did not call for that crap at all in the slightest... He is doing nothing to rectify the way people perceive him. Since they knocked the Bulls out i really haven't given a damn about the end result of the finals, but the more I see of this sort of crap the more i would LOVE to see LeChoke - Le***** lose!!

Following Miami Heat forward LeBron James’ confounding no-show in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, the question on everyone’s mind on Wednesday was simple: What the heck happened? “[He] checked out,” Dallas Mavericks guard DeShawn Stevenson said. Later, he referred to James’ detached passivity as “weird.” “I just feel like he wasn’t in attack mode,” Stevenson added. “I think when he’s in attack mode, he can put a lot of pressure on us. I don’t know what was happening last night, but me playing against him all these years, that wasn’t himself.

Amazing how a guy with more natural god given talent the rest of the opposition combined still feels he has to resort to that.

Thats a real shame.

Tell you what, Lebron is going to be having a monster game tonight because the Mavs can't stop him. He's the one who is choosing not to be more aggressive so far. By his comments, and that from the media heavily scrutinizing him, I bet he comes out and drops a 35point game at least! Hopefully the Mavs will still win this one because if they lose, it's game over.

So far in this series they seem to be running with Wade for the 4th quarter - im not sure if they are going to change that. Saying that though he cant play worse than game 4. Down to best of 3 - bring it on.

I agree this behaviour from one of the elite in the league is pretty sad. Basketball is starting to look more like soccer with these kinds of flops. Totally agree with whoever it was commentating game 4 that said it's making the NBA more of a farce and there should be more efforts to discourage this crap.

Would love to see Lebron get heat checked to less than 20, because Dallas would still have a chance! If Miami just executes and stays focused instead of constantly choking, this would have been over long ago.
