Fry his ass. Gather your possies, drop by his house and hang him by his teeth. Its bloody obvious he aint gonna send it (if he does have it). All these outrageous excuses. Common, whos he trying to fool.

I don't mean to be a downer bro, but I've read that if you try to get your money back via PayPal Chargeback, and they've cleaned out their account, you won't be able to get it... I'm not 100% sure on this, but I thought I should mention it now...

It'd probably pay to ring PayPal mate, JUST to see what you have to stand on.

Hope it helps mate.

you wont be getting that box..
the guys just giving lies after lies..

ALSO
for a guy thats told so many lies why do you think the address he gives is correct? its not that hard to just pick a random address in a state.. so dont egg someones house when u dont kno for certain

if its too good to be true.. it normally is

yep, id be suggesting the address is false...

however, his email address / ip addresses etc are traceable etc

Mavs, this has happened before....and yes Paypal will award the claim to you, but they will not guarantee your money back....in most cases you wont get it back. The only time you will get your money back is when there is funds in the other persons account.

I THINK someone on this forum has said before that if you win your paypal case and are not able to get your money back through paypal that you can try and get the money back through your credit card company.

A guy claimed I didn't send him his card before (and I did via registered) and he filed a paypal claim. He got his money back coz this was during my wedding and I didn't see the paypal complaint until the refund happened already. My paypal ended up having negative $$$ on it. I had to deposit funds to put it back on positive. So I think Scott can still get his money back if a credit card or a bank card is linked to the paypal address he sent $ to.

i believe it was bargey. hmmmm.. that sucks, dishonest seller.

While i agree that it most likely a scam....if i was scamming someone i wouldnt be replying at all??

The fact that he continues to reply suggest that there is still a glimmer of hope!

He is more than likely stringing him along, trying to get him past the required date for a chargeback. I'd initiate it straight away - if he was going to send he would have by now.

seen the auction and straight away it was a scam. wid the mutiply excuse and constant delay his trying to wait for the paypal claim to expire. chargeback the cash and if the package arrived send the cash back if not at least ur protected.

Scott put a demand in to PAYPAL NOW dude !

Gemz - Yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw it too and I am sure Scott did but I gess he was willing to risk it :(
