Waiting for you to start this thread.....

You should do transfers........Joe Cole went to Liverpool!

The new Man United Shirt if anyone hasn't seen it

i don't mind the new one actually, the 'V' got a little boring so i'm happy for a change. Apparently the Away Kit is white with Red and Black sleeves but no OFFICIAL word on the 3rd Kit, i've seen a picture of a kit believed to be the 3rd kit, being Green on one side and yellow on the other, but that hasn't been confirmed

Man City are still on a spending spree...Very close for Kolarov..I like both Manchester teams lol

i was about to bring this up.. I love it how teams like City get provided all the money in the world and try to buy everyone there is in the world that they like the look of! A good example of this, apart from City is Real Madrid. They spent over 300 million bucks on World-Class players and still don't win! And does anyone notice a pattern? Once United show interest in a player (i.e Balotelli and Silva) City jump on the wagon and try to buy them by throwing money at them! Gotta love it!

why in the world would we release aurelio

because he is crap!

obviously no one really wanted him so they released him, meaning a lesser club can pick him up without spending all their money on one player.

And i believe Theirry Henry went to the New York Red Bulls for Free...

United's last preseason game is against the MLS All-Stars next week, so was just wondering what you think the EPL All-Star Team would look like...

Mine would look like this:

Going with 4-3-3

GK: P Cech
Defenders: A Cole, N Vidic, J Terry, P Evra
Midfielders: F Lampard, S Gerrard, C Fabregas
Forwards: W Rooney, D Drogba, F Torres.

U mean like United did when we forced up the price for Berbaflop last season?? United paid 30 mill for him cos City forced the price up....

I'd change a few things - Gerrard was rubbish last year, and in the world cup, will be interesting to see how he goes this year. I'd put Milner from Villa in there. Rooney doesn't play on the wing. I'd have something like this...

Cech
Cole Vidic, terry Evra
Bellamy (City) Lampard, Milner, Lennon (Spurs)
Shrek and Drogba

Tevez and Dunne off the bench. Bellamy had a great season for City, scoring 2 at Old Trafford, and carving up Chelsea as well. Lennon was excellent and a big reason why Spurs made the top 4

I wouldn't have Torres or Fabregas because if u check the stats those guys, as good as they are, hardly even played last year!!!!! Like your backline though. Evra was excellent for United, as was Cole for Chelski.

As for City's transfers - we've got too many players!!! I've been very happy we've gotten Boateng, a big 21 year old fullback who was excellent for Germany in the WC. He was the only guy who shut down David Villa in the whole tourney.
Silva will cover for Bellers likely shifting or retiring. The other player we got was Yaya Toure from Barca to hopefully fill the Roy Keane role as a box to box player. Could do with Balotelli but he's a head case so wouldn't worry me if we ended up with another striker behind Tevez and Adebayor.

City now have a young strong deep team. Can they play together though? And can Mancini manage game time to keep everyone happy???

I've picked Chelsea to win again. with United, Arse and Man City to make the 4 but not necessarily in that order. I hope we win a cup!!!! Haven't won one since I was 3!!!

United are a Rooney injury away from big trouble. They're in financial strife and have 4000 season tickets to sell yet - a sign the club is splintered with it's owners. Arsenal will be sharp as always- if Fabregas stays as it appears he will they'll be tough. Liverpool's season depends on Torres staying. Kuyt can't score the goals they'll need. Cole is a great signing for them and their new Manager Hodgson is excellent. Just don't think they're as deep as City.

Warney - look forward to your contributions, arguing with u all year!! And I can't wait for the season to start!!! ;)

United - who have they signed?? Hernandez a Mexican?? Will he back up Shrek or play with him??

sounds awesome man can't wait! I think United will make the numbers up soon.

We have signed two players, J Hernandez who had a great world cup (scored 2 goals) and Chris Smailing (from Fulham) and from the Preseason games he looks pretty good.

Hot property defintely German players, Podolski, Mueller and Ozil!

Those guys are great - if I could sign one player in the world from the WC it'd be Schweinsteiger. He was awesome. (oops and Iniesta!!!!)
