Anyone heard of these? Power balance wristbands

I'm disabled, so I thought I'd try it...

Didn't change me.

So it's on the basin not touched in a few months...

I got the wet suit one, seemed lighter... Looks cool though!
 
Yeah interesting stuff i dunno if i belive in that kinda stuff but would be willing to at least try it out

I think these are RUBBISH. IN FACT I KNOW THESE ARE RUBBISH! For a few bucks it aint going to hurt anyone. Elite sports ppl are very superstitious etc and want what ever edge they can get, whether it's in their head or not.

However, the tests that I have heard of are all done one way. eg sit and reach test. Usually someone will sit and reach then put on the band and do again. With or without the band they should do better the 2nd time. If you put the band on for the first stretch then take it off, I bet you will do better with it off. IT'S ALL A CON! Whether you put a band on for the 2nd stretch or stick your finger up your arse, you'll invariably will do better the second time.

Scientifically, these have NOTHING!!!
As such, the "Relay for Life" (which raises money for cancer research etc) in the southern sydney suburbs knocked back $10 000 sponsorship from these products as they are untested/unfounded and would be likely to tarnish reputations.

Lastly, I make my claims with 5 years Uni training and 10 years experience as a health care professional.
 
mate you got ripped off chances are its fake because its 4 bucks! the real ones cost 60, ive got one, its not a marked difference but body centering and balance are slightly improved as with agility, it could all be mental though...a lady at work has one because she suffers from vertigo all the time and it has helped her

you're right mate, all the knowledge in the world accounts for nought if you haven't actually tried something for yourself, I could say that I read the area surrounding the Pyramids in Egypt reeks of camel dung but wouldn't be true unless I smelt it.

haha definately rambling :lol: :razz: but was a good ramble

I wanna try one to put it to the test...maybe i should create a video of dunking now and then later with one on :lol: could turn into LeBron!
