How do we pick who verses who? I say.. Nenjabin vs Vivo in the first round. And Ranga vs Digeze in the 2nd round.

haha just the playoffs guys verse each other first hey :razz: Yeah random is the best way so no one sh!tty and easiest way aswell

On a side note, would love at some point to make a league of the "best of the best". Have been thinking about it.

I'm talking long-term, but to qualify you'd have to have played in a competitive OCT league and then finished very highly. The criteria I thought up is below:

- A top 4 regular season finish in OCT S1
- Advance past 1st round of playoffs in OCT S1
- A top 4 regular season finish (in both conferences) in OCT S2
- Advance past 1st round of playoffs in OCT S2

Then crown best of the best.

So at the moment members in it would be:

Vivo, Nenjabin, Digeze, Jimboc, Ben-Portsie, Verse1, Arzbar, Katmagik and Swish_130.

Going into every match there I would be thinking "damn this is going to be a challenge". In the long-run I'd also expect Ranga to get in there, unfortunately he doesn't fit that criteria I set out above but I'd put him up there in terms of quality regardless.

What do you guys think? Digeze, Ben? Another brand of OCT, winners league. Maybe we could launch it when we get 16 members who qualify that, and we'd have a 16 man league like in S1. At the moment 9 people meet that criteria.

Just saw Verse and Ben split two games today. First game looked like nobody could buy a shot, both making less than 5 three's on over 20 attempts or there about.

Second game Verse caught fire. Ben is not shooting good from long at all. The last two games a combined 9/53 or 16.9% from the perimeter.

Verse on the other hand, Nicko caught fire from deep hitting 9/19 in the last game. Durant with 32 points.

Looks like you guys are living and dieing by the three point shot.

Unfortunately the game is dictating terms a little...Mo was wide open over and over in that 4th game yet came up 0/13 from the field! Nick is smothering me alot too, and I can't keep up with him on D, but it does seem to be a bit odd. Not helping that Melo went from being a 77 3pt shooter in S1 to being a 67 3pt shooter in S1 Playoffs! And JR dropped from 75 to 69 too...

Bottom line, Nick is far too good for me! Has worked me out perfectly. Must be all those practices we used to have! :lol: I tried to reinvent my game in game 4...got down 26? But clawed back to 7 down late in the 4th...but no avail. To try again but I am not holding my breathe!

Yeah a super league sounds interesting!! But yeah something like 16 teams sounds pretty sweet

Jokes. Haha but seriously. Yeah sometimes I find players who are wide open still miss. It's more the flow of the game has to be right than being open or not.

Well as expected, it's over. Nick awaits a finals opponent! I changed my play COMPLETELY. Hurried, ran at all costs, little to no play calling, on ball D the entire game. Only Durant could hit anything for him, and unfortunately he hit something like 15 points in a row in the end, contested or not, to steal the lead for the 1st time in the dying seconds and it was over. Actually feel jibbed to be honest! :lol: But only for that game. Great series Nick, you made me have to change myself up and unfortunately I couldn't learn well enough on the fly. Now I can focus of S2...which is hard with so few games left.

Ian (aussiemjfreak), we have a game due next week, when you free?

Congrats to Nick then hey! Hopefully me n Michael can get a game or 2 out tonight so we are closer to the finals series for you mate.

Yeah Durant had a crazy game in that last one Ben, glad he did though as no one else could hit a shot all game. Harden killed me in the first half, about 4 un contested 3's and he missed every one! Westbrook also stood up when needed with 13ast and 20pts dropping 2-2 from the 3pt line when it was most needed.
Great series again Ben you had me all game in the last one and luckily for me Durant got open. He dropped 4 treys in the last 1/4 and ended with 57 points :O

Wow Verse great job man! What a series from Nicko. A legit contender for season 2 now it seems as well ;)

Those Memphis Grizzlies can sure ball :lol:

Jimbo i havn't played a game in S2 in about 3 weeks, no one seems to be around anymore :mad:
I have no idea how they are going are they going alright with all the default games?

That super league sounds like a great idea,hopefully i can get past first round in oct 2 to get in lol. Cant wait till oct 1 is finished and maybe start simming more games for oct2, so we can start getting closer to playoffs.

Another lot of Season 2 games due to be simmed tonight/tomorrow.

Also, Season 3 already has 30 people in it messaging me daily about when it is starting. 5 months until 2K11 comes out so i'm pretty sure the season can be completed in time. Can even work out the release date and time the deadline schedules to make sure it finishes in time.

I also think the super tourney is a great idea. A lot of the people you mentioned for that are guys that play regularly and are usualy pretty easy to get into contact with so i dont think that would be too hard to manage in conjunction with Season 3.

Okay sounds good mate. Let's just have the draft no earlier than the night of Friday June 18th as that's when I finish uni exams :)

And yeah, as for the super tourney, there is a correlation between ballers who play a lot and win. Lots of the guys who aren't on much don't seem to win much either.... ;) hahaha.

Kevin Durant what an assassin! Couldn't be stopped by the best defender in the league Nenjabin!

Check out his stats. Durant for 39.6 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.3 SPG on 53.7% shooting and 44.1% from the perimeter (41/93 3PT in 9 games). What's more amazing is Durant only averages 14.7 of those 39.6 PPG in the paint. So that's 25 PPG off jumpers and free throws!
