Can Dwight and co shut down the hot shooting Durant though? Should be a very tight series.

I do enjoy the playoff series much more the regular season games. The adjustments you make throughout the series in regards to rotations, offense and defense and the counters to the oppositions adjustments make it very interesting.

I'm looking forward to season 2 playoffs now :) Only been about a month since i played with my S2 team though so might need a few pracs before jumping into the playoffs.

Yeah i was actually a little dissapointed, shots werent falling and Dwight is pretty hard to stop Nick ;)

Yeah i think i was undeafted till Ranga (Heat) beat me in one game n then lost the series 4-2...did a bit of a St.Kilda like last year, even though they werent undeafted (you'll know what that mean if your into AFL)

Looking forward to see if Durant or Dwight comes out on top :thumbsup:

Im going to need some pointers Nicko, i know i have no chance of beating Howard inside with Thomas but might be able to mix things up enough to keep it close.


On another note looks like Durants back in my hands in the Auz NZ league after a trade just went down with Arzbar. Gasol is a beast mate you'll like him :v:

I think 4 of the games came down to the final seconds to determine the winner....very close series. Was kind of lucky that Garnett got injured in game 4 and his rating dropped from around 85 to 68 which carried over to game 5 as well.

Let me know times that you're online some nights and I'll happily play some practice games. I need to get the hang of my S2 team again also!

And congrats on Finals! Shutting down Nick (Boston) is a hard thing to do!

Good luck to you and other Nick. I must say while it kicked my arse and was a little annoying to play against and try and beat, Nick with Durant and co play an awesome style of game. The perfect outside game with a touch of inside too :)

Was bloody close except for one game, was a good series! Yeah bloody injuries :razz: healthy just about all year and get one...ahwell!

You've produced some great playoff games. If 4 of your games with Nick came down to the final seconds, so did 3 of our 4 games. Great playoff play Michael!

I'd just keep playing your game man. Last couple times I played you, your shots were deadly on point and your ball movement around the perimeter was excellent.

In terms of stopping Dwight, one thing I found playing Michael was that it was vital to stop Howard receiving the lead pass in the lane for an easy dunk, which would usually occur quite early in the shot-clock.

If you can get Dwight to post up, instead of catching it off penetration you'll do a lot better.

I don't think that's giving too much away as it's pretty obvious stuff you'll see in your first game.

BUT

To be fair to Michael - the last two times I played Nicko his ball movement and perimeter shooting was excellent. The best kind of defense to play on him is pressure defense, don't let Westbrook past you. If he beats you off the dribble and you have to recover he's either getting a dunk or an open jumper.

Now that the playing fields are even. Let the finals begin! :lol:

Yeah i've always wanted to watch guys play games online to see how everyone else played not just the guy your up against.

Yeah i reckon i might try and touch base with them soon before the release pretty soon really...well the development stages would be pretty much done you'd think

I spose that's why they allow you to review everyone's player cards/profiles to view tendencies and what style everyone plays. Though you can pretty much tell by box scores and shot charts what peoples style is and how they play.

I'd love a spectator mode....although what i would like best with online play in 2k11 (not counting better server quality) is to be able to turn our seasons into franchise mode.
