Super rare Hird find

Hey guys,

This is only my 2nd AFL mailday in 12 months, but found a rare one here.

2000 teamcoach James Hird Wildcard, only seen this on ebay once and nabbed it, sure enough one came up 2 days later and sold for $20 less

My understanding is that these were a promo set and roughly only 20 produced, is this right?

Awesome card mate, a rare one indeed.
Looks like the Silver Wildcard.

Not sure if you are aware,
but there was 6 common variations + the silver wildcard per set and per player. Rumoured only a handful/very low numbers produced. Then on top of that a even rarer Gold wildcard exists, i have them all for my cuz pc minus the gold version.

Top card,
definetly snap them up as they are tough to find.

Cheers for the info, every card search told i've done has told me there is only 4x2000 teamcoach of Hird, 3 base and a wilcard, i'm screwed then took me 3 years to find 1, impressive effort have all the cuz versions bar one

Yeh i know, there are quite a few .. a large set which was never realeased.
Actually my mistake having a quick check, there are 5 common variations + the Silver + the Gold Wildcard. Well at least for Cousins anyway, i'd assume Hird would be same.

I think there might be different amount of cards for different players because Black has 5commons and one wildcard
