Very nice win :D Though it was clear most of the season IMO that the East would never have been able to mount a challenge to the West :) (Cept maybe Lebron etc...but then if they can't beat Orlando, clearly not!).

Does that mean the site will be coloured purple and gold for the next 24hours in honour of the Lakers? :D Well done, and good job by the Magic getting to the Finals but not making the right plays in the final minutes is going to haunt them over the summer break. Now if only the Cavs can get Dwight signed up hmmmmmm...lol

I have to admit I'd forgotten (or repressed the memory) that the colour change had occurred.... it just wouldn't be fair to show bias to one team and to completely ignore the all-conquering Lakers!!:worthy::worthy:
 
Bit of a dismal Finals show, kinda reminded me of the Heat/Dallas Finals.

Orlando were absolute stone cold today, they had no hope of winning.

Derek Fisher made a plea during his press conference for fans to celebrate in the right way. He actually mentioned the terms "riot" and "turning cars over" as inappropriate ways to celebrate!!:cool:

And if this site is not glowing purple and gold within the next few hours....I'm not sure what I'll do but no doubt it'll be drastic!!!:eek:

All I'll say is I've heard 'rumors' that the Lakers may be picking up Grant Hill in the off-season and he would be most welcome. :worthy: ;) :lol:

Please be aware that the Lakers colours are often mistaken for 'yellow and purple'. The official colours are 'royal purple and gold' - the team is very particular about this...:D
