:mad:To many times i've bought a card off ebay where they've charged me a compulsory price in excess of 10 dollars for extra postage costs eg registered mail or shipping insurance and recieved the card with 2.50 worth of stamps on it. Why do ebay sellers have to be the scum of the earth and milk as much money out of us as possible and often charging more than the card actually costs:mad::mad::mad::mad:. I saw this and couldnt believe it FUKIN SELLER WTF

CLASSIC!!!! I meant to start a thead like this only yesterday, check this out.

2008/09 UD PREMIER BRANDON ROY PREEMINENCE AUTO 21/25 - eBay (item 400041406390 end time Apr-08-09 19:22:02 PDT)

I sent a question asking if the $20 got me a Gold Plated envelope. His response was ::

What $20 would have got you was up to 1-10 cards shipped registered post, however due to the tone of your question all it gets you is banned from all our auctions forever!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH:D :D :D :D

I loved it, like I would have bid any way at that ridiculous postage price!!!!

Well if sellers want to be covered against a paypal claim they have to spend alot more than $20. I just send something ECI to the US insured for $300 and it cost $60... I only charged the guy 40.

Sellers in the USA regard it as a god given right to charge exhorbitant overseas postage. I guess they have enough US buyers not to be concerned overly about o/s buyers. But when they have what u want and u can't get it elsewhere u r over a barrel.
Most local ebay sellers are reasonable with postage. If not, give them one star. Hopefully, they will get the message. But don't forget padded bags and top loaders r not free.

yeh but padded bag toploader maybe 2 dollars shipping max 4 but they charge sometimes up to 29 dollars for one card which sells for like 15-20 dollars

I've been riped off a lot for shipping from the US, i just let it be I once got charged $15 for something that was only $4.00 that was from an Australian seller too. Sometimes there is nothing you can do, have had my share of bad experiences. I just think well if its a card I really want then you just have to pay what the seller wants rather then argueing with them as sometimes it gets you no where

I asked a US seller how much postage would be to AUS, he said he would charge how much it costs him, after the auction he tells me the postage would be 11.40US, i emailed him to ask if the postge was express or registered and he didnt respond.

Simple, contact Matt, aka shawnbradleyfan and get him to bid and then post it on to you, thats what I do, easier than arguing with the seller, thats if they answer your question.

a lot of people charge more postage because they try to cover some fees with the extra money.

Sure it sucks, but I kind of understand. especially how much eBay +paypal (owned by eB ay) milk out of you.

Don't know how many times I have responded to these threads. As a seller from Canada, I know damn well that international insured shipping is high in North America. I have been tempted to not sell internationally again since too many buyers accused me of charging too high for shipping. People should really do their research before accusing others. Not all countries have low shipping fees.

It's pretty was to see when the seller is overcharging with tools like USPS - The United States Postal Service (U.S. Postal Service) shipping calculator at hand.... don't know if there is a Canadian equivalent though..

And no offense to anyone that reads it from overseas but it seems to be the USA that have found that they love to rort the postage system i noticed the same guys that charges $12US for postage and only uses $2 of it actually is the same one that cries that you charged him
$5 AUS for postage on an item they purchase ( double standards ) it must be there global finacial crisis:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

But this is happening with about 15 of them they are trying to be the main men of cards and charging accordingly.pft as if the think they are!

You know what i do when they want i card i have it's $25 US for postage and some i do not even respond to .

The best is not to support them and let them have a shortened market share for they can only sell to specific regions and see how far there greed takes them.

no matter what u do politics is everywhere everyone wants to be a polititician.
