While in Bendigo visiting the folks for Christmas I went to the markets held every Sunday at the showgrounds, first time in a couple of years.

There has been a card lady there for years, but her AFL stocks got stolen about 6 year ago, and have only just started to replenish, but she also does a hell of a lot of non-sport stuff.

Now there is also a new guy there that focuses on AFL, seems to be a good dealer with fair trades/prices and a good variety of stock from the last 5-6 years, will be going back to see him soon me-thinks.

I advise any AFL collectors in the area to go check him out, you may be pleasantly surprised.

There was also another guy with mostly 90's stuff, but he was a bit pricey.
 
It be good if the first post kept getting updated with a full lis tof shops when people post new shops etcc, as it would make it easier then going through 10 pages and trying to find shops.
 
hi all going to sydney in about 6 hours anyone know shop in city area or near by .family holiday..............but theres nothing wrong in wanting to bust some packs(is there)..............................cheers:thumbsup:



from wanna bust packs freak yea yea:lol: in desperation dont make me bust pokemon guys hahahah.

yer i was there when that happened aparently all my cards were stolen as well and a fue others, was getting them valued and lost over 1,000 basketball cards, but it happens

well to kinda answer my own question i just came back from sydney and was 3 nights in hotel at pitt street found one shop called kings comics tried to sell chronology to me for 550+au dollers i almost laid a chicken nugget in hes shop from the laughter coming out of my mouth then he tried to sell me rookie threads ud the year not sure but had kevin durant in frontof pack packaging get this one pack for 100.oo au do people actually pay this much lol. hes like its worth that much because you get a hit in every packet instead of one in a entire box is this seller living in the nineties or what any how busted no packs :lol: laters:lol::lol::lol::lol:
 
kings comics is a jib, infact everything in that entire shop is a rip off...i used to live on pitt st and go in occasionally and they eyeball you constantly when you flick through the comics.i remember they were trying to sell a box of 93/94 topps for $150 once.
 
haha your not wrong mj_fan i didnt even look at the other stuff in the shop i couldnt get out fast enough had to calm my laughter down so went to charlie chans pub and had a few :v::lol:
 
i want to go in there for a laugh as well. actually i don't as i'd probably yell at the shopkeeper for ripping off private school kids.

they used to be better when they were down the escalator near hyde park..i guess cause they are closer to town the rent is more expensive, but not for a $150 box of crap.:fist:
 
I would say hes rent is out of the world............ on the internet its way different if you over charger on the internet your a straight up tosser.
why i say that is cause its thousands and thousands of dollars cheaper to run a internet store than a actual retail store with overheads/staff/RENT/electricity/phonebills/STOCK/refunds etc etc the list goes on and on............
unfortunately if they over charge in that area i can understand being in the city sydney aint exactly cheap.
but when someone overcharges on a internet store or even charges RETAIL on INTERNET that just is dirty. please forgive me for being straight up & speaking my mind thats just my personal view.
 
oops hi all can anyone help me out as i have been told theres a trading card shop in pakington street geelong west victoria but i have driven up there many of times and cant find it, does it exist? and if it does does anyone know where it is.

hi bro not sure if i can help but i will try i am not from geelong but the only store i know there is cardmania Popcultcha Collectables, Plush Toys, Action Figures, Trading Cards, T-Shirts, Bust, Music 111 ryrie st
if there is a new trading store around there would be good to know.

If anyone in DARWIN NT is looking for low end basketball packs only upper deck or magic of gathering packs you can go to NT Comics located in Casuarina Plaza opposite Casuarina Shopping Square.

He also sells 9 card sheet protector pages for 60 cent each

Also sell coloured single card protectors, I didn't ask about the price because I wasn't interested in those.

Thats it for cards and protectors in the NT unless you check out you local Newsagency you might found AFL or Match attack soccer cards I think at Darwin Mall Newsagency, any other info let me know ;)

yeah they are reasonble with pricing on AFL boxes, singles, inserts and early stuff with non-sport stuff as well NJ Top Cards

Other than Gary on here if you are in Melbourne and you want cheap boxes and this guy does not overcharge like most do he also has the sickest Jordans have ever seen and he offered me to put them up on here to sell but i don't think a lot of guys here could shell out close to $2k US for a Jordan auto 1 of 1 so i have opted to maybe take him up later unless there are guys that have that sort of cash.

But this guy is in Dandenong market and Caribbean gardens actually at Carribean there are 2 but the other guy is about 20% more expensive because he picks up bits and pieces not cases but Malcolm can deliver cases or anything actually.
