I'd say real card that someone simply wrote a number on to try and make it 'rarer' and therefore worth more.

I had a vc that was hand numbered pack pulled by myself, but it was embossed as a buyback. You can't tell from just a scan.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that listed on ebay a few months back.
