Aussie Card Shop Directory

Last time i went to the PLANET in brissy (about 5 years ago) they had heaps of NBA thats mainly what they delt in i believe..

They had rows and rows of box after box it was one of the best shops in QLD for trading cards before the NBA in AUS where pear shaped, its a real shame to see them follow the same path........
 
Another from the Sydney area.The Comic Bug sells a wide range of basketball, football and baseball packs from the 90's and sell NRL packs select 2004 nrl authentic, box of 2003 NRL XL Ultra and other select boxes. They also sell Scanlens football cards. The address is 99 O'brien st off Old South Head Road, Bondi, Sydney.
 
QLD, Sunshine Coast: "TODAY COLLECTABLES" Nicklin way, Wurtulla.

Range is pretty good. Does heaps of AFL and NRL, also has plenty of NBA, NFL and some good non sports too. Great people too, always happy to help you out and the prices are the cheapest Ive ever seen in a card shop! Well worth a call in if your from QLD, or a phonecall if your not and chasing something.

There is also a card stall at the Chandler markets in Bris that has recently started, worth a look if your around that way
 
Went to Daily Planet brisbane today, not badly priced considering they are in the city, have a lot of Nba mini boxes, sp tin, topps finest etc not a bad selection at all, also have a lot of NFL suprisingly and some baseball.

I used to buy off Fastbreak Sports at Nundah aswell, doesn't stock boxes, has to order, price not the best but ok, has some singles sometimes in cabinet.

It seems carter's shop Dream Cards is the best priced ive found.

mate where is that in brisbane? ill be up there on weekend from newcastle and want to check it out.
 
There's an NRL shop in 147 Queen Street, Campbelltown. Cards r us perhaps?

For footy cards, i would make the trip down to Campbelltown in the Spotlight arcade on Queen Street. For NBA, i would just go to the monthly card shows help by our esteemed Sonny from this forum. Thanks.

For the NRL types in Brisbane, google footyfunaddicts trading cards, his web site only gives a mobile number but you can order online or he has a shop / business that he runs out of his house and customers are welcome to go there. From memory he is in Marsden (a suburb of Logan).
 
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, and haven't collected cards in a good 10-12 years. Was an avid collector in my younger days, and am looking at getting back into it.

I read through this thread and saw that there were no listings for stores anywhere in Canberra. In an old thread someone mentioned there was one, but no details were given... Does anyone know of any store, newsagent, back alley I can get some 08-09 season cards?
