Well like any Melb Supporter would have loved for to be at the Dee's but after hearing what he said i dont really want him there now!!!i dont like to wish injuries on anyone but a collingwood player!!so good luck to him......hope it keeps him down for the rest of his career!!!I just think he is bein a complete ass clown about it all!!!!

Wishing an injury on a player....is just wrong. He is a superstar and is a great ambassodor for the AFL.

Nah your right there Ben, I take that back but I am still not happy the way he has handled the situation. I wan't like this until he started nit picking the likely clubs he would be traded to.......if he just went home to Victoria because he wanted to go home to family I would have been quite happy for him.

Agreed....but al these people saying they hope he will be a "Woewodin type player" or "never recover from his injury".....absolute rubbish.

Anyone would think he has hurt someone....or absolutley disgraced himseld...

I tell you what if he changed his mind and decided to join the dees....i would welcome him with open arms....and i reckon all of you would do the same.

If he's not going to come to Richmond, I hope he becomes the next Brownlow winner trade bust like Woewodin, Akermanis or Brian Wilson. Although I have a feeling he could be like a Greg Williams or Peter Moore and win another Brownlow....

Agreed, you'll be the winner Cept are you willing to give up a bunch of quality youth for him?
And I'll bite. Sure we're not as close as your very well put together young team, but we're not wooden spoon material!

As I have said I have $$$ on Judd going to Collingwood, if there was a bet that they get him for next to nothing I would bet on that too.........Don't fear Collingwood supporters I think you may just end up being the Happiest supporters after the trade period !

Count on that! Or at least them trying for that. Collingwood never understood the idea that to get something you have to give something...

But if west coast cant make a deal with the pies wouldnt the eagles just say well bad luck buddy if they arent willing to give us something worthwhile then you can go in the draft and end up at richmond or somewhere he doesnt want to be just to screw him over?. I know thats what id do haha. I think the least he could have done was give the eagles three teams that he would be willing to go to instead of saying one team , it doesnt give them much room to manouvre.

All this thread really shows is that the AFL is at the point of needing Free Agency. Why the Eagles should be getting anything for a player who is out of contract is beyond me.

It's a good point...but I like the system cause unlike basketball, players chopping and changing all the time isn;t going to aid teams immediately like say signing an out of contract Kevin Garnett (example) would in the NBA. If we had free agency then you could lose 1-10 players in a given year depending upon who is up and who is down and there is no allowance for development of a team which is essential in a heavily team orientated sport such as Footy. I think a free agency would ruin our great sport.

That's a bloody tragedy. I really like Judd as a player and was one of my fav's. But now he's at bloody Collingwood he's a mortal enemy.
