Where will Judd land?

That's a bloody tragedy. I really like Judd as a player and was one of my fav's. But now he's at bloody Collingwood he's a mortal enemy.

I second that. And they got him for nicks. Didak wasn't able to be controlled in Victoria, how's he going to go in the party state!

Are we sure this is the deal? I didn;t think these things could be worked out until trade week? Surely it's just that Judd has nominated Collingwood as the team he wants and now West Coast and the Pies work a deal?

mate just told me that Judd picks carlton as his preferred club? apparently was on radio.....

Right so Benny heard on the radio that Pies are the choice and now you hear Carlton? Great...so which the bloody hell is it??? haha

I didn't hear if you read I said a mate of mine on msn just told me that Judd selects carlton as his 1st choice club to go to. I can't find anything online for either so I have no idea.

You didn;t but you said your mate did = heard on radio.

I'd be shattered if he went to the blues...A.he said he wants a flag (carlton wont win one this century) and B. he wants good facilities...(pies have the best in the country) ...if he chooses carlton he has gone against the 2 things he said were his main priority.

Interesting.

I'm pretty non-plussed by this, but I think Judd will miss a few games at least to get over his injury; No way the Pies are going to risk their big investment.

Good luck to him.

Except he'd still have gone with his #1 priority, family. He also has said winning isn;t as important otheriwse he'd have stayed in Perth...but then he said money didn't matter, yet he's down to the 2 teams that'll throw a blank cheque at him...so...

Judd settles on Carlton

October 02, 2007 FORMER West Coast captain Chris Judd has nominated Carlton as his preferred next AFL destination, the Blues said today.

Carlton chief executive Greg Swann said the Blues would work through trade negotiations with the Eagles and Judd's manager Paul Connors to complete a deal.

”We are delighted that Chris has seen fit to nominate the Carlton Football Club as his future home at a time when the club is embarking on what will be a new and exciting era,'' Swann said.

”Now that Chris has selected Carlton, we will formally commence discussions to finalise a trade appropriate to all parties.

”We are extremely confident that we can strike a suitable deal, but are mindful that there is still much to be done to secure Chris's services.''

Judd, who quit West Coast two weeks ago, had narrowed his options down to either Carlton or Collingwood.

Carlton have the No.1 and No.3 picks in the national draft and are best placed to arrange a deal with the Eagles.
