Latest Movie/DVD you've seen, and what would you rate it...

Finally got to see Die Hard last night!!! What a movie!!!

Loved every minute of it, great action scenes and Brucey still has got it. :)

8.5/10

also watched Blades of Glory the other night, didnt mind it. But there were some shit parts. Was a little dissapointed, sort of expected more, but still was good. Jon Heder and will Farrell are legends.

6.5/10

Just watched The Protector a film by Quentin Tarantino, staring International Martial Arts EXTREME Tony Jaa....

First, if you don't know Jaa, you HAVE to check out Ong Bak (International Martial Arts DEBUT film).

In The Protector, it's based around Jaa, a "Protector" to his Elephant (story has it, when Elephants do Battle for their King, they must have a Protector as their legs are vulnerable to individual attackers). Anyways, Jaa's Elephant and it's father are kidnapped from Thailand, and taken to (where 95% of the film is shot) SYDNEY!

I won't go too much into the story, as it'll take a LOT out of it for you watching it.

If you like Jackie Chan's style, doing his own stunts, thingo, Jaa does all this, + LOTS MORE!

I tell you now, if you love Martial Arts movies, this is for you!

We rented it tonight, we'll be buying it next week!

It is subtitled, but has an English (overdubbed) Soundtrack.

This movie for me, 10/10 no questions!

The fight scenes will leave even the King himself, Bruce Lee speechless!

EDIT:
Here's a cool snip of Jaa performing for an audience (acting/stuntmen of course).

His Muay Thai skills are amazing.

Don't watch many movies now days(just stuck into barrels of TV) but the new stuff I really enjoyed seeing over the winter was Fritz Lang's Metropolis, Russ Meyers Go Go Kill Pussycat, Street Trash to name a few, most of the flicks I watch now are on Mystery Science Theater 3000! Vibrating Beanz!

I liked watching the occasional Star Wars though.

Saw the Bourne Ultimatum last night, should've watched Suprememcy again beforehand because the start was a bit confusing. Awesome chase scenes throughout the whole movie, in fact the whole movie was prob a chain of chase scenes. Cool fight scenes too. Worth a gander, I was pretty tired and went to a late show so if I was wide awake I prob would have apreciated it more! 3.5/5

Just watched a movie called This is England - very very strange movie about a kid who goes from being picked on in school to a skinhead white supremecist... That said it's worth a watch. Not sure whether I'd give it 4/10 or 7/10 but it's definitely interesting.

yeah, i like it too, its a well made movie and some of the action sequences are so well done. however, like you said, the movie is just one long chase scene (which is pretty much what the first 2 movies were as well)...its too similar to the first 2 movies, just different locations and a few new bad guys after bourne. worth seeing though.

nice eclectic tastes there dude, i really tried with metropolis but it just got so boring, all i could appreciate were the sets and the art direction. ive really got to check out some more russ meyer films, theres not enough booby-obsessed directors working these days :D (btw, its called faster pussycat! kill! kill!)

LMAO, has anyone seen the movie "Undead" (2003)?

I just dug it out, and watching it again.

It's an Aussie movie, about a meteor shower that hits earth, and next thing, everyone starts turning into the undead after some sort of acid rain.

It's pretty lame, but farout, it's hillarious!

Dirk Hunter as Constable Harrison is damn funny as!

I love on of his quotes:
When I was a kid, we f****n' respected our parents, we didn't f****n' eat 'em!

Watched
"The World's Fastest Indian"
The life story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle.

Great NZ movie starring Anthony Hopkins as Burt Munro, well worth watching even if your not a Motorcycle fan. 8.5/10

Saw "Superbad" tonight (Advanced Screening). It was fairly funny, although, if you're homophobic, you may not enjoy it. I was surprised at how good it was. I didn't expect it to be any good, but it was quite funny.

Would probably give 8.5/10

I just watched The Interview with Steve Buscemi and Sienna Miller. It's about an ex-war journo interviewing a starlet. Based on a Theo Van Gogh film (that's the Dutch director who was killed by an Islamic fundamentalist), and directed by Buscemi. Really bloody good. Great surprise ending.

the new halloween movie- sucked and i love horror stuff

Damn, that's a shame. I was hoping it was gonna be good.

The Zombie Man behind this??

Comparable to House of 1000 Corpses & Devil's Rejects????? I'm sick, and loved those two movies. Was hoping to expect something similar in Halloween....

EDIT:
I just noticed that Mrs Zombie's in this one (Sheri Moon) mmmmmmmm :p

Bourne Ultimatium

Im a huge fan of the 1st Bourne and to this day it would still be in my top 10 favourite action flicks but i was bitterly dissapointed in Supremacy. After reading all the critics praising this movie i though it would conclude the trilogy on a good note but my intinal though after the movie was average. The start was so boring i was nearly asleep and i have never fell asleep in a movie theatre but this one was pushing it. It's basically just a constant chase movie with shitty acting from shitty actors. Matt Damon seemed old in it and just was no where near as bad ass as he was in the first one. Some good action scenes came close to the end of the movie finally and while i thought they were good i thought they could of been better. The story behind how Bourne was made was just boring and dumb but at least in concludes the trilogy with no answers left un-answered.
5/10
