This is very good idea, i would have done the same thing..

i am pretty sure, many members here are getting cards from baskr2... coz he just started two years of exquisites..

better know black and white before things get worse

But the problem is... the card I won should be wwwwweeeellll on the way to be by now.

But I guess it can't, if someone else has it.

Mike I think the one you won is real and the other guy is selling the fake for 1 reason.........

The pic of the one you won isn't an ebay pic so therefore he had to take it.....

the second auction the pic has the ebay watermark..... thats what i think anyway.

The bigger pic in the second auction doesn't have the ebay watermark and it isn't the same pic as the first auction either. It's pretty worrying either way.

Its a real shame when this sort of shit happens. Good luck dude!! Here's hoping things work out for you either way(ie. money back or get the card)....

Baskr2 has been great to me, so hopefully it's the other guy...for mine and your sake...but it seems alot of people have dealt with the other guy too!

The first one is smaller and looks like it was a scanned. The second one looks like it was taken by a camera...

Either way, there is definitely something wrong going on... :(

I've had a horrid week, and then whilst browsing e-bay for cards I need for sets, I see this. Not what I expected for sure.

I hope I get my $$$$ back :(

i am sorry to read about this mike.i would not be happy with my money back i would want the card as you need it for a set chase.have you sent something of to the person who has it for sale now with the prove you won the card a month ago and asking him how he ended up with a card you have paid for and own ?

I haven't bud, as I feel they are both the same people or are working together on this. But somehow, they messed it up by listing it too soon.

Maybe I'm not thinking straight, or am letting past experience overrule my thinking. As this happened to me before :cry:
But I smell a rat.
 
Oh man... this is no good at all Mike....

Just read the reply that Mav's got back from the second seller, this situation is not looking good at all!!

I've recently dealt with Paul (Baskr2) as well, as he had a few wades I wanted. He had a particular wade exquisite up for auction on ebay, which he also had displayed at the same time at the Nationals (early August). I made an offer and he was kind enough to pull the wade card from both ebay and the nationals, which I had recently received in hand!

I have an idea of what might have happened (just a theory):

I have never dealt with freebie2, but what I am thinking is that Baskr2 had the Shawn Marion Exquisite card both on ebay and at the nationals. He might have sold it to freebie2 at the nationals but didn't pull the auction off the bay before it ended..which you had rightfully won! Has Paul (Baskr2) been in contact with you since the auction ended? If not, then I have a funny feeling he knows he stuffed up on this situation.

I really hope you get your $$$ back Mike, because it has been over 4 weeks since you won the auction!!

This situation is really f#$% up and should never have happened! :mad: :eek:
