I can’t see Qld containing this forward pack. If they can, NSW have picked a back line of brilliant attackers, but poor defenders, so Qld could run riot. Fingers crossed that’s what happens.

Don't mind the look of the team at all.

Our edge back rowers are going to earn the money covering CT/W.

Jake T on the bench

He is an 80 minute player, not really an impact player.

Crichton less so than above as due to his bulk and ability to run lines he will be more effective.

Regarding Tommy T, yes he has played wing but not for over two seasons and wing is such a specialized position now with the tough carries out of danger, high ball catching and finishing. Turbo is at his best with freedom, sniffing around the ruck for offloads and broken play. He will be significantly more restricted on the wing, tough carries aren’t really his thing either.

What team has had the most state of origin representatives in a single game of state of origin in total (mixed between NSW and QLD) I counted 10 from Melbourne in 2008. Was curious on a team record if anyone can/has an idea?

QLD:
- Cameron Smith
- Billy’s Slater
- Greg Inglis
- Dallas Johnston
- Micheal Crocker
- Israel’s folua

N.S.W
- Brett White
- Ryan Hoffman
- Anthony Quinn
- Steve Turner

I think at one stage in the 80s Parramatta had 9 players for NSW alone. Not sure if anything comes close but i wouldn't be surprised

Papalii to re-sign with Canberra on a 3 year deal and Wigan prop Ryan Sutton signed on a 2 year deal.

Apparently Canberra are looking good for Wigan backrower John Bateman also if they can sort out his transfer fee.

That officiating tonight was an absolute disgrace. Canberra are their own worst enemy but I cannot help but feel ripped off by that.

But they gave you a try?

The loose carry? Of course I am very bias in my opinion but I felt that Peachy never regained control after the first fumble and while making contact Austin dislodged the ball.

Two penalties that gave Penrith 4 points in the first 10-15 that should never have been given. Peachy not being sent to the bin when he was clearly offside from the quick tap and of course the strip from Tamou at the end that gave Penrith the field position and possession to win the game.

Canberra are their own worst enemy and tonight they did all they could to lose the game but those calls were terrible.

Definitely a loose carry but didn't it hit austins arm at some stage?

Yeah look I think you are right, maybe his forearm so fortunate call. Again though this supports the terrible officiating, 2 on field, 2 sideline and the bunker and they just can’t get any consistency.

Regardless though, it is all semantics, Penrith won and Canberra didn’t.
