Cowboys, everyone's 2nd favorite team...

Seriously what a gutsy team!!

Morgan, has to be the best player in the NRL at present

Very happy for my ex Raiders workhorse Fensom!!

Hopefully Fensom gets a run in the big one. Matt Scott will be fit so someone has to make way.

Big turn around for Fensom though, this time last year he was playing a grand final too - the NSW Cup....

Yeah I think your right, if Scott plays then Fensom will likely make way as he doesn't have the punch of Hess, Asiata or Jensen nor does he have the utility value of Hampton.

He was a good, consistent player in an underperforming team for years. Unfortunately this put his wage well over what he was worth and to make cap space he had to go. I think he was contracted to Canberra for this year but they offered him the chance to look around and secure a multi year deal elsewhere.

As I said, a very tough and consistent player in a generally poor team, was a big loss for the lime green. Very happy he is having success elsewhere though.

any truth in the rumor, will mathews and joel thompson could be at the sea eagles next year.

I'm hearing Joel Thompson to the Sea Eagles rumours as well. It would be disappointing if true. I cant believe he is being shopped to them it must be the cash but who knows. Loosing both his on field toughness and the off field profile would hurt and be a great pick up for Manly.

My guess is it a long term cap planning strategy with Luciano Leilua off contract at season end 2018 and needing the game time now to prove his worth it's JT a have a look around and see if you can set yourself up somewhere for your last contract?

Ross

Agreed, big loss if true, was sad to see him leave Canberra.

Very tough, quick and runs good lines and as you mentioned a brilliant off field profile.

Bromwich, Taumololo, Proctor, Tohu Harris, Luke, Foran, Marshall, Beale...

Kidwell even talked about not selecting Mannering

The Kiwis looked like world beaters just a few years ago, then some dipshits decided to take sleeping pills and energy drinks the night before the World Cup final and they have been in free-fall ever since.

It has been a painful few years to be a Kiwi/Warriors supporter. I'm just not interested in this WC at all with Kidwell in charge. Barely even used Taumololo in the Anzac test anyway. Also put to be bed our direct game with offloads, which is what our pack does best.

International league is screwed without countries fielding their best teams; it is borderline irrelevant as it is.

Go Tonga!!

I don't think its borderline irrelevant at all.

The ticket sales in Melbourne and Perth have been fantastic. Sydney have Lebanon vs Australia and should be great.

It's also about time that Aust and NZ stopped hoarding Polynesian players. It's also time for them to let them play for their rightful country. And I think you're starting to see that the Polynesian Test series in May is kicking in.

I was only talking to friends and family over weekend saying when SoO is on, it should be on a dedicated weekend.
Probably Sunday night. The Friday is the Women's NZ vs Australia. Super Saturday is a Polynesian Cup of PNG, Tonga, Fiji and Samoa. You could even include Cook Islands and NZ.

Week 1
PNG vs Fiji
Samoa vs Tonga

Week 2
PNG vs Tonga
Samoa vs Fiji

Week 3
PNG vs Samoa
Tonga vs Fiji

2 points for a win and table done on F/A. Whoever tops table is crowned Polynesian Test champ for that season.

I am on the Poms and Kumuls for their Raiders connections!

I also hope that Rapana kills it

Deep down I think Australia will win in a canter and I am happy for that. I am glad to see that the Aussie team was picked on form for once with the only major exception to that Dugan, who I must admit had a blinder in the Anzac test.
