Big League put the mockers on the Donkeys.

Went from Broncos to Busted Asses.

Same thing happened to Eels when they were on the cover....

Yep no doubting Brisbane were terrible and didn't want to get dirty but this is why we have the video ref, to stop the howler, which I thought this was.

I really dislike the on field try / no try process also. I think we either embrace the technology fully or get rid of it.

Wouldnt mind the storm having an off game at some point before finals just to keep everything in check and dont get too far ahead of themselves. Dare say Broncos will have a different mindset after last night so not all bad

Storm would be due for one you'd think. Hopefully we get the win this weekend then

It was passed in to his shoulder. They called play on. I'm happy to go with it.

People will talk about that.

What about Boyd's fumble in to touch? Oates' knock ons? Blair's dropsies 3 or 4 times? Thaiday and Maguire's drops. The lethargy in defence? Boyd's whiney b###h to the ref when he let Radradra trample over him with the bobble try?

Refs get a kicking and deserve it some times, but teams have 80 minutes. They made more mistakes and won penalty count 8-2.

They won the penalty count 10-2

Am loving this double header season opener over in Perth.

Seriously...it's time they got Perth/WA in the NRL.

You can even say that WAers love their Scorchers, Wildcats, Glory and that the NRL will be just the same. And placate the AFL types with the GWS "Oh we're not here to take over, we're here to give kids options etc etc etc".

In 20 years, the Perth Pirates will be up there with the best IMHO (and they should never have culled the Reds back in 1997 [and basically moved them to Melbourne]). Time to get Adelaide in too.

Heard another rumour that if Watson sells the Warriors, the NRL have asked if the club can revert to the Auckland Warriors. Now Manly are committing games to Christchurch too.

Makes me wonder if they're looking at a 2nd NZ team and Perth to expand comp? Would be great in my opinion.

Makes me wonder if and when 1,2 or 3 Sydney teams will take the plunge and possibly relocate.

Adelaide or Auckland on top of the commons pile...that'll throw my collating of Brisbane first way out...

just off track a bit,
NOT breaking news, but the dragons will never wiln a premiership, repeat, never ever , win a premiership with P McGregor at the helm.
They have some of the best forwards in the game, but without direction and a willingness to win, created by a good coach they will go nowhere.
For the life of me I cannot see how a team can find a way to lose so many matches, they will be further down the ladder then newcastle next year.
I am sure if Wayne bennett had the these forwards he would be above Melbourne at the moment.

I have to disagree somewhat with you there, looking at their stacked lineup for next year I think they will easily make the top eight and a very good chance to take it all the way. Very unlucky not to make the finals this year. <-- Quote this next year when they make the top four mate.

Wouldn't say it's stacked, however if all fit, it's a good side.
