Wow, serious mistake by tap n play IMO.There is a Jersey numbers set which is Silver and is limited to 150 cards each (20 Players) 1:72 packs
There is a Gold Variation of these cards 1 in 360 packs that is limited to the players jersey number. The highest number I was told is 77 and the Lowest is 1, so yes only 1 set of Golds can be completed if that's the case.
Cheers
Matt
Hopefully they are out first week in November as has been reported & will give you the chance to get them at the test & some shield games as well as the BBL.
It looks like it will be a November 14 release which I think is far too late. It also looks like there will be two jersey cards to collect - Mitch Starc and Nathan Lyon!

By the time we get our hands on these, the entire Domestic One day tournament will have been completed, along with the first two rounds of Shield cricket & half of the South African Test series.
I don't know why there has to be a delay with the release of these every year? Most BBL teams are close to finalising their team lists & even though they have not released player signings it is clear Cricket Australia is aware of them & in turn pass on the information to Tap N Play for this release. Last year there were half a dozen players in the set that at the time of release had not even been anounced by the franchise as signings.
The ESP NRL Traders set was released in time for round 1, not sure about the Select AFL set....
So looking at the breakdown it looks like the boxes will be 36 packs this year up from 32 and cases will contain 10 Boxes. Which means on average 1 box will contain 18 silver foils, 9 gold foils, 3 memorable moments, 2 Award winners, 1 young star, 1 match winner and 1 card that will be either a Silver jersey, gold jersey, Signature, ultimate performer or a signed jersey card.
Basic cards look good, the cards that are 1 a box or less look better then last year, my main concerns are the memorable moments and award winners looking the same as basic cards like last year and the hopefully gold and silver foils quality improve from last year.
Jersey numbers, the only player i can think of in the big bash who weres a number 1 jersey is Ryan Carters from the Sixers, they also have a 77 in sean abbot. 1 for australia are mark taylor and lauren cheatle. so i think Ryan Carters will be the single card. guess only 1 sixers can complete a team set.
Mark Taylor? I know George Bailey is 2Don't forget the Australian ODI and T20 sides.......there is a current player who wears number 1!
Better send an email to Cricketinfo LOLThere were 26 packs per box in last years set.
Usman Khawaja is currently wearing the No 1 on his shirt.
Jason Krejza was the last player before this to wear the No 1
