Spotted this photo on TnP's Facebook page which I guess is one of these new jersey cards.



IMO it's not a bad idea to bring something new into the release, but I'm not sure it needs both a silver & gold version.

But I'm just not sure the extent to which fans really worry about (or even know) the jersey numbers. They might have some meaning to the player & may have some legacy associated with past "owners" of the number, but beyond that???? But maybe I'm wrong and the kids of today know all the jersey numbers of the players in their favourite BBL teams.

Although, when you look at the BBL team websites and half the time the player image obscures their number anyway. Is that a #7 behind Meg Lanning for the Melb. Stars WBBL side?

Certainly going to be an interesting mix of player numbers if the release includes WBBL as well - and given its a 200 card base set release anything is possible.

Hey all,it's great to have these new cards but are they going to fix the folder problem(ruined 3 cards inc
Award winner and box cards the rings need to be put on side like all other folders not straight up like they have with the first 2 folders,so guys check your cards in back of folder

I am led to believe its a 20 card Jersey Numbers set = 5 x Aus ODI. 4 x Aus T20i, 3 x Southern Stars, 1 x each BBL team.

I'd suggest jumping on a pre-sale order when we list in the coming weeks. You'll save a few dollars on that retail price! Packets, Boxes and Albums will all be available.

It's possible......I would expect Nov 14 to be the retail in store date (Newsagents etc)..... Given that its shipping from China the product would have to be ready a few weeks prior anyway so it wouldn't surprise me to see some flown in for the big resellers to have early on.

Hang on didn't they have issues last year with Chinese made cards so they had to scrap that print run and re-do it in Australia?

Two thing I would like is that the jersey card design is new and improved. I'm a bit over the same design being used for cricket, A-league, union etc... need a revamp.

And please make sure cards are randomly inserted in packs as pack searching for the cricket and soccer releases were way too easy to pack search and members went around 7/11 and newagency's taking all the signature redemption cards as they could feel what were in the packs.
