West Coast card collector!
Yesterday was the release day of NRL Elite, the equivalent of Select AFL Series 2. In this release there are two insert sets called "Mojo Sets". From what I could gather, this is how they work:
- There are two of these Mojo Sets (Ruby and Sapphire)
- Each team has nine players in the set
- The Ruby cards are numbered to 40 and the Sapphire cards are numbered to 20
- You get the team set in a single "mojo" pack (i.e. No commons in the pack, just the 9 Ruby or Sapphire cards for a team)
- I think Ruby mojo packs are 1 per case and Sapphire mojo packs are 1 per 2 cases
So, my question is...would you like to see a concept similar to this introduced into an AFL card release? If so, how would you implement it? If not, why not?
There's also a poll at the top of this post. Fire away!
