I'm new to NRL Elite cards and a little confused about reference to Mojo and Sapphire "sets". Does this mean an entire set will be in 1 pack?

A Corey Oates 1/1 redemption I see. Hopefully he put a major major dent in his bank account buying up all his cases as none of us fish in the ocean will ever see the light of day trying to jag one of these 4 cards.

Team set numbered /20 for sapphire (1:2 cases)

Team set numbered /40 for ruby (1 per case)

That is the plain jersey patch redemption not a 1/1

Correct mate, in the pack will be 9 cards either Ruby or Sapphire cards that are all numbered the same out of 40 or 20.

Thats just a unsigned Jersey Patch card of 150 not 1/1 ....

That's marginally better than your average case. 9,124 total inserts divided by 640 cases gives about 14.25 inserts per case. That one had 15.

Most cases should have either a sapphire (400) or jersey sig (200) a mojo ruby and an unsigned jersey.

Looks like a fair bit more value than last year then, will be interesting to see how quick and far the prices fall this release

I reckon the 230 cases that go to Newsagents may be a bit light on for big hits.

I would hope not all the cases are as uneven as that... 3 cowboys, 3 broncos, 2 warriors in that case

Did this newsagent get Elite in previous years?

My local newsagent has always stocked elite and when I spoke with them on Sunday they weren't aware but just assumed that some boxes will come with there magazine order from Gordon & Gotch. I don't think that newsagents have to pre-order initial stock it just arrives.

Pretty much mate, haven't looked at the G&G site for a few days but they didn't even have them listed when I last checked.
Cant order if they don't have them listed, Mondays and Thursdays are GG delivery days, I know they advertised the newsagency release as a later date than the dealers so I would say next Monday at the earliest for them getting to newsagents.

With the trader release this year we only found out what we were getting the day before they arrived. Ordered more boxes, starters and albums the day they arrived, got some but not all of what we ordered. Ordered again the next week and couldn't get anything but got them within a few weeks as some newsagencies started doing early returns and sending unsold stock back to GG.

Three of my local newsagents got their PP and Traders stock. Once it was sold, that was it. They were forever saying they were trying to order more. Obviously call was there for more stock but they just never got it.

Meanwhile two other newsagents had 20 odd Starter Packs each and more after. I know cause I bloody bought most of it argh!!!!!

NONE of them knew about Elite. Not that I'm buying it from newsagents.
