Far out. Halligan coaches everyone except for bulldogs players.I think Croker's career average is 81%.
Halligan is his kicking coach and rates him very highly. Must be good if you can keep the tee off Sezer

And a majority of cronin's tries would of been only worth 3 points
He also had to kick an old leather football that were a lot harder to kick then the modern day footballs
I would imagine that cronin's percentages would be quite a bit lower then el Masri, crokers and Halligans but the footballs these guys get to kick in the modern days are much easier to kick.
So in other words the way the Broncos play nowNot only that but back in the day they used to take a lot of penalty shots for goal, wouldn't think twice about taking a shot 35-40 out and near the sideline.

No kicking tee. Sand, or heel divet.
Crap suburban turf.
Surprisingly, despite Canterbury being a long serving team, few players who have broken records. The dogs have 6 players in the top 100, 2 of which only played 50 or so games (b. clyde and b. mccarthy). El Masri is just about the only person to hold a individual record for the bulldogs (plus a few more). I seriously can not think of any other Canterbury Player with an invidiual record apart from K. Inu who was the first person in history to play in 3 grand finals, with three different clubs and lose them all. (2009,2011,2014)Record is 2418 points by El Masri.
If Croker continues on his current season average he will break this in 5 years
I used to make heel divets and place the ball in it and toe poke. LolCrikey, back in my day we had sawdust, not that I ever had a chance to convert a try, we were damned lucky to get any points at all in 1991 playing in the reggies, but I do remember we had sawdust rather than sand.
