Hey Girds, were u hearing Seggy to the Sharks

was hearing it at penrith.

Supposedly trying to link up with wade graham. this was about a week and a half ago before the story that corey norman could possibly make his way to penrith came out. things may of changed since then, but yeah about 2 weeks ago i was told seggy was likely to become a shark

Coote resigns with the Cows for a further two years

How refreshing to see a player choose his mates and a place that has let him play his best footy ahead of more money
Brendan, I would have him in the australian side way ahead of Boyd any day, he has a much better defence and far better attacking skills.
The only thing D boyd has got going for him and has had since 2008 is the team around him that makes him look good and a master relative coach that tells him wear to be.

On form Coote is definitely in the top echelon of fullbacks in the game at present. Due to injuries he hadn't had the chance to play rep footy yet so is unproven, although I have no doubt he would be fine.

Boyd really steps up at the rep and his talk at the back is sensational, this is what sets him apart at present I believe.

The Parramatta Eels have granted Kieran Foran an indefinite leave of absence to seek the best possible medical treatment regarding a personal matter

This is a weird story that has come out today: whats the motive for stating this now?

Darren Hibbert, one of the central figures involved in the ASADA saga, has made explosive claims that he provided a substance banned in horse-racing to Manly players in the year of their 2011 Premiership victory.

Danny Weidler reported that the squad received Inositol, and the following statement was given by Hibbert:

"In 2011 I created a mix that was used by the Manly players. I added an ingredient called Inositol - known as ITPP. I started adding it after the State of Origin series.

"The effect was quite a simple one - it was similar to EPO - it made the players unstoppable."

"The Manly club are denying any knowledge of it," Weidler said.

"Hibbert said that he did it without the knowledge of coach Des Hasler or (the) head trainer.

"The players were unaware that he was adding things to a mix as well."

a club coach (Bennett) has blocked a player (Milford) from playing rep footy

How does a coach have that power?

Was that for Samoa? He is banned from QLD and therefore Australia due to Mal's rules. I thought he severed ties with Samoa after the last WC so he could play for QLD / Australia?

Yeah it was

Apparently it was blocked by bennett not milford.

He is able to play with them as hasnt played for qld/aust for 2 years. Or something like that. He was picked in the Samoa side.

If Bennett blocked Milford then I take it back.

It's still crap. NZ and Australia should be picking their players and developing Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, PNG in to full on international sides with a rep weekend slap bang in the middle of the year.

Funny how Bennett won't let Milford play for Samoa for the betterment of International Rugby League - But he's quite happy to coach England for the very same reason.
Wayne seems like a nice enough fella... But I do find him a little hypocritical from time to time.

He's a cunning bugger.

I love him. But yeah, the double standard isn't right.

It's interesting the slight difference in the wording being used by news outlets with two very different meanings;

Has been stood down versus granted leave of absence.

He has been granted a leave of absence, media just like to twist things as it sells more papers

I certainly hope your spot on and we learn this when the time is right for more to be known public but Jaede forgive me for still wondering if he was stood down or granted the leave as I know your parra passion has had you wrong about the "papers" before ...

.............. but we dont have cap dramas for last year or this year (the cap dramas were from when ricky stuart was coaching us), .......

i don't believe it's true, considering the source it comes from makes it hard to believe it. The Nrl have said they have already gone over the club with a fine tooth comb, if this is the case it would have been picked up.......

Hoppa, board dramas and Parra now look likely of being docked points...........

Cheers

yeah i know my judgement is clouded sometimes, I just know that he was having relationship problems and his child was in hospital about a week or two ago also the same paper stated he hadn't been at training all week when in fact he had and there is photos on the eels page to support that, there is also a rumour going around that he has found out the child isn't biologically his. All I hope is it's something not serious and he has able to get himself good and back on the park.
The club will be addressing the Media 3pm at the club in regards to Kieran .... Guess we will know more this arvo

Unfortunately I don't think the board dramas will go away even after this investigation, the nrl should step in and get rid of them because they sure won't be stepping down while they line their pockets with money. As for hoppa I don't know whats going on there, as hasn't been much mentioned about it since the board/ salary cap debacle. yeah ive been waited a for them to mention how many points parra is going to be docked

This normally would be a big news story but I think Hibbert's credibility and the Foran news will push it into the background for a while at least.
