He'd have to take a massive cut to do so, and assuming that Thompson and Love stay in CLE, there'd be not much room for West. Also, isn't Lebron a FA too?
 
Well, that sucks for him, must be some cash there???? Anyhow happy with Jo Young at 43, very underrated player, good day, not great but good.
 
Love the selection by my Bulls of big Bobby Portis. High energy impact player. Even though we could have done with some sf/sg depth and a back up pg, I'm happy as it adds depth and flexibility to the front court. I'm thinking it means either more playing time for McDermott and Snell, or perhaps a trade is in the works (Gibson possibly?).
 
J.P Tokopo got told to stay at school by coach and parents, dropped all way to the 50's, think they need to bring in rules of 2 years minimum of collage, so many of these players look no even half ready, it's hurting the game.
 
Playoffs over. Draft over. Time to catch up on some classic basketball games for the next 3 months. First up, game 2 of the eastern conference finals in 93. Lots of great players...Jordan, Pippen, Ewing, Starks, Oakley.

Who can tell me who from that game is still active on the floor to this day? And I'm not talking coaching...

I'm only excited because it gives us a sneak peek at the rookies. As a laker fan, I want to see how Randle has recovered, how Clarkson stacks up to his performance last year etc.

I hope the Lakers keep Steve Nash on board in some capacity to keep working with Clarkson and Russell.
 
Carmelo supposedly not happy with Phil and the draft - NOW wouldn't you think it's a fundamental concept, to go to your star player and say "hey, we're thinking of drafting XX or XX, this is how we want to work in with you, this is what we plan for the next 2 years".

What the heck is going on with these teams and star players being surprised by who gets drafted I don't understand it!!!
 
Have to say the heat scored well picking up Winslow at #10.but the winner of the night would definitely be the wolves,obviously with towns as the 1st pick but to also grab tyus jones in a trade for two 2nd round picks is a bargain,wolves look very promising
