2015 ESP Traders Official Thread (Sell Sheet Page 4)

I don't know how many cases they are releasing, but if it is like 2014 Traders where it was something like 1:130 boxes per legends sig, it will be freakishly hard to pull a particular dynamic duo, given there are under half the number of a legends sig. It would be very unlikely that a collector would pull the card they are looking for. I'd imagine most will have to buy it.

I wonder if the dynamic duo name was a nod to the 1994 release?

Are these dynamic duo's gonna fetch as much coin as a legend sig?

Quite possibly, serial numbered to 100 and in a National (+NZ) release so not all stock will see the light of day (or end up in the hand of a collector who will look after it).

I think initially it might be possible to grab them at a reasonable rate, but when people realise just how hard they are to get they'll start heading north very quickly.

The base cards are the nicest looking Traders ones so far by miles.

Good selection of sets, gonna take ages and a lot of money just to get my Knights team set. Parallels can jump off a cliff, they're not needed in a set that already has heeeaps in it.

I reckon this would be a brilliant set to collect as a kid though, it'd have to get a lot of youngsters excited about the hobby.

The /100 sigs are a good nod to collectors too (hope there isn't a Knights one though, can't afford it! :P )

The only sigs are the legends, /208 (1:60 boxes)

The Dynamic Duos are not signed but are /100 with 3 cards in that set. If the production run is the same as 14 Traders then the Dynamic Duos should be about 1:96 boxes or 1:8 cases which was the same as the three brothers sig from 14 Traders.

These figures are all based on the assumption I have the production run right, 25000 or so boxes??

Nice looking cards, but way too big of a set in my mind for the first series of the year. They could quiet easily cut it right back, make it more affordable for everyone. I am a single parent who loves collecting nrl trading cards. I earn less than $25000 a year, so I simply can't afford a set this size, so will probably spend the next 10 years playing catch up on the sets. Still chasing a lot of cards from last years series

That "faces of the Game" insert set with Cam Smith seems a touch lame............................

I thought when I read faces of the game you might see non playing persons; Ray Warren / Daryl Brohman / Craig Bellamy / Buz Rothfield etc (Buz is a joke of course)

Just a trip back to Footy Faces die cuts days (and I think the die cuts were a better idea).
Not sure about the Thunder & Lightning set either, what are these about? Seems there's a heap of inserts for the sake of having a heap of inserts. From bugger all in 2013 to 200+ in 2015???
Still, I'm in again because I like collecting footy cards. ;)

Every collector loves to pull an insert, even low level inserts and I think they are just keeping the masses happy
I suppose so, but the masses aren't too interested in filling sets as much as we are. And this set looks like it will take some filling!!!

Very true, no way am I contemplating a master! I wonder if the Dyndmic Duos will be a series 2 release also like Select did with the Double Troubles in 2009

I'm not too happy with what they've done with the Retirements either. From a low end insert to a 1:2 box hit two sets later? And now that we've collected them all over the last two sets, we can't very well give up on them now.
