A BGS MJ Auto 9.5 got it


2014

Since my highend PC is where I want it, I will focus on grabbing an auto of each of my fave 90s players as a side pc;

Bird
Zo
Mugsy
LJ
Baby Jordan
Isiah Rider
Penny
Pippen

Adding legend autos and patches aswell as any nice multi coloured patch to the pc.

Managed to achieve these goals already!

I've got a few aims for 2014

1: 200 Mikan cards
This shouldn't be too hard, as I'm missing a few of his newer ones and I only need 6 more for the double ton.

2: 10 1/1 Mikan cards
So far I have 6 of the 44 1/1 Mikan cards. I'm aiming to add a few more to my collection... the 38 1/1's of his I don't have make up nearly half of the 84 Mikan cards from my list that I need.

3: Find a 1967-1973 Equitable Sports Hall of Fame BK6 George Mikan
Of the 84 cards I need, the 1967-1973 Equitable Sports Hall of Fame BK6 George Mikan 'card' (its a 7 3/4 x 11 print) is the only post-1952 non-numbered card I need.

Unlike the 4 pre-1952 cards I need, all of which are prohibitively expensive (1950-1951 Bread for Health, 1950-1951 Lakes Scott's Chips, 1951 Bread for Energy, 1952 Royal Desserts), I've never seen one, although quite a few of the set are available on eBay.

Just an update on my 2014 collecting goals....

1. I've got 215 Mikan cards, out of 281.
2. I've 10 1/1 Mikan cards, out of the 48 1/1's
3. I managed to get a 1967-1973 Equitable Sports Hall of Fame BK6 George Mikan 'card'

COLLECTING GOALS COMPLETED!

I'm aiming to get 220 Mikans, 12 1/1s and a 2001 Fleer Greats of the Game Autographs /300 by December 31st 2014.

HI guys just been going throgh my pcs and wondered what your collective goals are going to bee for 2014?

heres a few of mine from this year so far.

1/ Try get to the 500 mark on my 03/04 fleer platinum name plates set = 650 so far

2/ complete a rainbow...... =completed 3 so far...

3/ 50 k love auto and patches= 58 autos and 55 patches so far

4/ find as many k love 1/1s as i can=31 and counting

2014...........................

one goal so far to try find my 1000th name plate and call it a day......

1/well so far ive hit 820 name plates patches plus

4/ k love 1/1 = 76 with plates

Only starting collecting myself in late april, and started my Faried PC in early may. So I'd love to in 2014

• Solidify myself as the best Faried PC around
• Aim to hit 200 Faried cards (completed 06/04/14)
  
• Have at least one of my set chases completed

Well and truly past the 200 Mark in the Faried chase (now at 302)
I think I've achieved the first goal
I'm between 2 & 6 cards left on each of the sets I was aiming to complete - hopefully they pop up soon!

Well I wasn't around December last year...but now I am around, I'm going to say my goals for 2014 will be nothing specific...as I don't really collect in that way. Simply:

1. Keep up with Panini Korver releases, all parallels.
2. Keep up with Panini Jason Smith releases, all parallels.
3. Nik Stauskas. 1 of everything. Canadian, Kings and Michigan collectors are going to hate me.

Josh, your Faried collection is going insanely well!

Matt, George Mikan, now that is a sick PC player. Well done on hitting those goals already and good luck with the Greats of the Game auto!

I never make goals for the year but if I had to set myself a goal it's be trying to land all Aminu rookie year cards which I believe I have 16 left with 6 of those being 1/1's.

Smaller goals would be to land a really nice Kemp patch and land a Drummond NT RPA for a decent price.

I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I definitely filled a few holes in list of cards from Aminu's rookie year.

I did land a really nice kemp patch with the crusaders quest patch I picked up. I didn't land a Drummond RPA, but I do have a silo incoming which I'm happy with.
