collecting goals for 2014??!!

HI guys just been going throgh my pcs and wondered what your collective goals are going to bee for 2014?

heres a few of mine from this year so far.

1/ Try get to the 500 mark on my 03/04 fleer platinum name plates set = 650 so far

2/ complete a rainbow...... =completed 3 so far...

3/ 50 k love auto and patches= 58 autos and 55 patches so far

4/ find as many k love 1/1s as i can=31 and counting

2014...........................

one goal so far to try find my 1000th name plate and call it a day......

My goals are to just keep building on my PC of Mashburn and Weatherspoon.
Would love to add more 1/1's and tracking down some of the white whales such as the 1992 Star Pics Autos of Weatherspoon

My goal this year was to hit 100 Jason Kidd autos, which I have surpassed.

So next year:
- 250 Jason Kidd Autos
- Convert more of my Prizm golds into rainbows.

Oh man, tough call.
Spoon PC came first and is more complete percentage wise
I have a lot of better stuff in the Mash PC and still a lot more to get, and more stuff coming out year on year

50 Kevin Love Autos
Now have 73 and want more
10 Dennis Rodman Autos
Have 11 I may get more but his new auto is rubbish so limits what i can get
10 Michael Jordan Game Used
Have the 10 but ay get more if ones come up cheap but not really looking

2014 Goals

I want to get all the Harold Miner auto ever released. I think im missing 5

Every Damon Stoudamire college and Raptors auto released. Most are cheap except the autographics

Try and buy the Preferred Black Kurt Rambis 1/1 auto from the guy that has it. I know he wont sell as he is going for the complete 1/1 auto set.

Want a nice decent priced Flawless auto/patch card

My collecting goal for 2014 is to slim down my collection and end up with less cards, but more high end. I have countless $10-20 cards which are just taking up space. Wouldn't mind ending up with some nice older Jordan cards (80s) to add to the collection. Getting my hands on a Jordan Star XRC would be crazy - might have to sell the car though.

Didn't really set any goals this year but I'm still happy with basically building my whole silhouette collection in a year.

Next year I want to keep building the silhouette chase and hopefully have half of the set done by the end of next year.

This year (not really a goal) was just to focus on my Payton collection. I had around 400 at the start of the year, I'm now sitting at around 1100

2014 I think I'll try pick up a few of my favorite 90's players as a little side PC and just keep on slugging it out with Panini on the Payton collection

I'm aiming to quit busting boxes altogether and set aside a strict monthly budget to go towards PC singles. I love this hobby but damn do I have to cut down on my spending

I never make goals for the year but if I had to set myself a goal it's be trying to land all Aminu rookie year cards which I believe I have 16 left with 6 of those being 1/1's.

Smaller goals would be to land a really nice Kemp patch and land a Drummond NT RPA for a decent price.

Since my highend PC is where I want it, I will focus on grabbing an auto of each of my fave 90s players as a side pc;

Only starting collecting myself in late april, and started my Faried PC in early may. So I'd love to in 2014

• Solidify myself as the best Faried PC around
• Aim to hit 200 Faried cards (completed 06/04/14)
  
• Have at least one of my set chases completed

Started back in the hobby 3 months ago after 15 years away.
So far have got around 1000 different Pippens.
I had always wanted a 1993-94 Finest refractor set and now missing 2 cards (Jordan & Tisdale).
Started collecting Prestige 2012-13 & 2013-14 - making inroads.

Goal for next year is to acquire a few nice high ends cards. Push the Pippens towards 2000 and rather than buying individual boxes try moving towards busting cases.

My goals 2014 will be,

Buy wisely and don't pay hype prices.

Get as many Amare (Knicks uniform) cards as possible. I currently have maybe 10.

Get every Jeremy Lin (Knicks uniform) cards there is, minus the 1/1's. Currently have 4.

Continue to get as many Seahawks(NFL) cards I possible can.

But most important I want to re find the passion I have for card collecting and make it more about having fun and take it less serious
