Just been confirmed, love to the cavs for wiggins, bennent, and first rounders, love to resign for 5 years 120 mil, Minnesota did ok, 2 number one picks plus a another first rounder, I think bennent is in for a huge break out year, seem him in summer league, looks like he's on a mission, the wolves will be ok, for a player you know was going in the long run, this is a win win, not happy as a bulls fan, this just made the cavs a very hard team to beat, they say defence wins championships, with Irvin and love defences crap we shall see lol

from what ive read he and Smith arent working well and im thinking he just wants out and to start over fresh somewhere else. Would have loved LA to make a run at him earlier.

Yeah Greg would have really help with that big inside body and with some of the other bigs we already have means we would have owned the boards. LA really need the shot blocker and lane protecter. Scoring wont be a problem but the defence needs a loooooot of work.

Wait, part of that deal is for Love to re-sign with Cavs at that rate? Surely NBA wouldnt allow that to go ahead, if there's an agreement already in place?

i read somewhere yesterday online that if its found that there is a plan like that in place already then the deal will be vetoed. Teams must thinks its gonna go ahead tho cos theres already talks of Phillie trade Young to the Wolves for Bennett and a pick.

The way around that would be for Sam Hinkie and the Sixers to trade a second-round selection to the Timberwolves for Bennett soon after Aug. 23 and then acquire two players — and probably a protected first-rounder — for Young. The league could choose to not allow the Bennett portion because it would circumvent the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and salary cap.
