2014-15 NBA Free Agents & Signings

you keen on Love going to the warriors?
i would love to see him go to warriors or lakers but really just want to see love in the playoffs, and warriors and lakers would make great patches to ..lol. do u think its possible that he stays with twolves for one more year??

I think his best chance is to get on the Lebron train in CLE. Bron, Love and Kyrie certainly have a nice ring to it and possibly safe to say they would seriously challenge the Spurs - as much as I would love to see him in LA.

yeah im with you on that one i just dont want to be seen as a band wagon man.......:cautious:

This deal is for Wade is about loyalty and nothing else. Exactly the same as why Kobe got the big bucks. Wade looked after the heat organization so now they are looking after him in the thigh light of his career

I agree about loyalty man I do, and most fans would appreciate and hope that he could play out his career in MIA much the same as Kobe in LAL, but you can't honestly say at this point of his career he's worth $17m for 1 year?

He gave the Heat stuff-all in the Finals series vs SAS, played no less than 33mins per game, which is incredible given his track record of knees, but only twice out of the 5 games did he score more than 14pts.

I just don't see him worth that money. Same as I don't believe Bosh to be worth $23m-$24m a year! I Bosh can give you what Kobe can, sure, pay the man, but it's not happening.

Beasley must be such a head case, we all seen in the final game how much natural skill he has as a scorer, yet keeps getting released by everyone, he will be talked about as one of the what if players, could have been a hall of famer if he had his head screwed on right

Wade's deal is IMO, really crazy on MIA's behalf. Rounghly $16m-$17m next season with an op-out option season after. Essentially paid a broken down player who's most likely going to NEED to provide more for MIA this coming season than last, $17m rental for 1 season.

If you had options, and looked around the league, look at all the players that have big contracts, tell me he's not worth $17m for 1 year?!?!?!?!

LOL @ B.Diddy!!! ha ha.

Monroe to PHO is massive for Suns, not sure how beneficial it becomes for DET. Would have thought they would want to keep Monroe, and instead were actually looking to trade Smith?!?!

Pelicans deal for Asik can be massive. Moves Davis to natural PF spot, and will allow Asik space underneath. Quite an under-rated duo, really!

Another update, Haslem returns to MIA for $2.7m space. Makes you wonder why he gave up the $5m (it was 5 yeah?) to return to a Lebron-less team, for almost half the coin.
The heat "looked after him" huh lol, hey give up 5 million man, we will resign Lebron and pay you big for your loyalty, ten days later- hey man Lebron left us, here's two and half million, loyalty my ass in the nba from both players and teams lol

I think kobes contact hurt the lakers rebuild, if they waited till this offseason they could have chased two max free agents and resigned Kobe, I know no one signed their but if Kobe got melo and Lebron in a room and got them to join them then just think, wades deal don't hurt the heats rebuild, it's two years but an option for the second so they can get him to opt out if somthing big comes up, 17 million is some nice loyalty tho, if anything boshs deal will hurt they heat more in the long run than wades, insane money for a abit above avergage player, he's on the Haywood parson leaval but without the upside

Really not sure on your first quote you put up top, I never said Heat looked after him, I'm actually baffled at his contract dude.... Yeah, they're paying him bucks for being loyal, but it's over-paid IMO!!!

It's above-par what Parsons and Haywood have been given, and he's sub-par for what they put out, and then going forward - maybe that's why they put a 2nd year Player Option in?

Agreed about Bosh's contract killing their rebuilding $, but that's not eased by signing Wade for $17m next season.

You're not wrong, he has so much potential, he needs a coach like pop to set him on the straight and narrow....
