2014-15 NBA Free Agents & Signings

Tucker got a nice deal. Probably a bit cheap, IMO, but it is FULLY guaranteed!

@ShamsCharania: P.J. Tucker has agreed to fully guaranteed three-year, $16.5 million deal to re-sign w/Suns, league source tells RealGM

Branko, you forgetting my boy Harris?!?! :D

Harris is (IMO) better off the bench with B.Wright. Thomas would be great, so long as we didnt have Felton on the books. DAL still needs that backup C.

woops sorry bro... just remembered they re-signed him... still lightning quick overall in the backcourt

The Decision has been made, even though it hasn’t been made public by the man himself. LeBron James is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers, a league source tells SheridanHoops.com. SheridanHoops

James met with Miami Heat president Pat Riley on Wednesday in Las Vegas to deliver the news, and Riley did his best to try to get James to reconsider, comparing the stability of the Heat organization to the relative instability of the Cavs, who have a meddling owner and have changed general managers and coaches several times in the past few years, according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity. I won't believe anything about Lebron until he's actually signed.

I mean, the guy is off to Brazil without signing or committing to a team, that's strange.

I'm not convinced he's going to Cleveland.

It's all a bit weird.

Will every body else just wait until Lebron signs somewhere? Surely they need to start signing guys.

Surely there are some GMs looking at plan "B" as we speak

^ In some cases Plans B & C!!!

Re: Mo Williams & DAL, he's shown mutual interest, but Mavs want to use their cap first, then look at minimum offers, etc. IF Parsons comes on board, leaves about $2.7m they're hoping for Carter, which effectively means no Matrix, unless there's an option to re-sign using MLE, which I believe teams can re-sign players to go OVER the cap.

Also, there's interest the Mavs will look to bring in Chris "Birdman" Andersen.

I'm that stoked, if this happens, I'm getting a jersey signed!!! lol.

Warriors had $9m exception and didnt/couldnt use it?!?! WOW!!!

Rumours went around weeks back about OKC trying for K.Love, be interesting to see if they could actually pull something off.

Reports coming thru that Lebron had agreed to return to Cleveland, said he achieved what he wanted in Miami, returning to the cavs to cement his legacy

Where are these "reports", can't find anything on twitter that indicates any form of HINT in a decision is made/coming forth...

Latest I read said of Wade catching up with Bron in Vegas, and that both had flown back to Miami, but not even a HINT of a decision being made/coming forth before the weekend.

Bron now off to Brazil for World Cup.

Every "report" is a journalist trying to be the 1st to make a break through in the news, taking the chance to be wrong in order to be the first!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the mavs own both Carter / Marion's bird right's? In which case the mavs are able to resign them to a new deal AND go over the cap to do so? This should mean the MLE is still available for use (the smaller amount for teams over the cap?)

Am I the only one that thinks that if Lebron go's to Brazil without saying where he's going that it's selfish? I understand about taking your time but when it's holding up %90 of the other players who are free agents then to me it's just Lebron playing up to the camera again, I think this offseason has back fired on the heat, their plan, sign a couple of really good free agents then resign their own players, trouble is that %99 of the players that they want are after their big pay day and holding off till Lebron signs to get an overpriced contract from all the left over teams scrambling to sign what's left of the good players, the plan backfired because now Lebron knows all the heat have been able to sign is some scrubs, Clevelands roster vs the ehats roster an't even close player for player, Irving vs wade, a young all star pg vs a all star 2 years ago with washed up knees, and they just drafted wiggins, exciting times if your a cavs fan, hoping we get melo in Chicago and it would bring back the old bulls/cavs rivalry
