Like no athelete ever got camps whilst using gatorade... hahaha
Pretty sure I used to get cramps when I was drinking gatorade.. used to taste so much better back in the late early 90's than it does now.

Lechoke, never want to hear of anyone stupid idiots saying lechoke is as good as Jordan, Jordan nearly dead with flu, 38 points and winning a must win game, lechoke, in the change rooms crying like a bitch, game over

As a proud Pacers fanatic, it pains me to admit that I have to agree with nearly everything you said. If Paul George was your 2nd best player you would be happy, but I am not sure if he can consistently produce Game 5 type games and carry a team on his back on a regular basis. If anyone can fix Hibbert they should give that person half of Hibbert's salary, coz he certainly isn't earning it himself, and Lance Stephenson has to be the most polarizing player in the NBA right now. Artest is actually a really great example, he is the guy who you love to have on your team and the guy you hate playing against, but at some stage the antics start to hurt the Pacers more than they help them, but having watched all but 5 of the Pacers games this year (love League Pass) I have seen some fantastic performances from Stephenson, remembering that he led the league this year in Triple Doubles, which is no mean feat, so he definitely has the talent to help a team win games, but at what point does he become too much of a distraction?

DEFINITELY NOT worth max money. Yes, very talented, but max money comes with great responsibilities, which no smart GM, let alone the great Larry Legend, would be willing to leave in Stephenson's hands. I would say that Stephenson will get offer from Pacers of around $30M for 4 years, but some other teams might go as high as $40M for 4 years, so it will come down to whether Stephenson wants to win now with the Pacers, or go for the glory of being a main guy (or at least a clear 2nd best guy) with a less competitive team. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out in the offseason.
Think I heard it from one of the commentaters best, he's still developing and reminds people of a young Scottie pippen, a Scottie pippen is great but can he lead them to the promise land?? Who knows, pacers need a second big star not a second pretty good player (west/hibbert)

Def going for the spurs but the LeBron situation was weird. He really made no attempt to stretch it out, which made me feel as though there was a bit of softness (maybe it was time to make a statement like some other greats have in the past). Then I felt a little sorry for him, he was obviously in pain.

THEN, I hear he was quoted as saying he wanted to come on but coach wouldn't let him. What the? He asked for off twice, sat there like he had a terminal illness. Conclusion: covering due to guilt cause he could of made a greater effort to get back. At no point did the guy even remotely look like he wanted back on.

I agree, all a bit strange.

I'll give him an out because the heat have consistently lost game 1s only to make adjustments and win game 2.

If I was the Spurs I'd be leaving that game in the past and expecting Lebron to have 35 + on Monday.

You really are a master of the english language my friend.

Not sure Bron will try to have a big scoring game to make up for the loss, I'm sure he'd rather have a game with those 5 turnovers he had being assists instead. He was scoring pretty much when he wanted to in game 1.. bar the 4th Q.

They need to be concentrating on their defence first and foremost if they want to have a chance this series.

Lol really I'm guessing u have never gotten a bad cramp during a game, man I hate all these comparing to Jordan blah blah who gives a crap!
Flu u can play through but will be fatigued etc cramping is something different ur muscle stiffens up and u can barely move it, 2 completely different things.

All I'm hearing atm is excuses excuses excuses, I wonder if Lebron will get a "cramp" this quick when he runs off to another team trying to buy a championship, real Mvp's play thru pain/illness Jordan/Kobe not sit in the locker room having a cry while your teammates are out getting a belting

As a player who has suffered a cramp so bad that I couldn't move my entire right leg, anyone who compares playing with the flu to playing with cramp clearly has no clue what they are talking about. I must admit though, I LOVED the jabs that came out of the Gatorade camp, totally hilarious.

Having said that, every player was in there playing in the same building, but it comes down to the fact that the temperature in the arena played a huge impact on rotations/substitutions and that is where the Spurs were able to manage the situation best, as they clearly have a superior bench to Miami's. Spoelstra went for the home run in the 3rd quarter while the Spurs were resting their stars and it didnt work as they didnt give themselves enough of a lead before the Spurs rested stars came back into the game. Just think, Lebron had already played 33 minutes before he went off with 7.31 still to play in the 4th, meaning that he was on course for a 40+ minute game. With the arena heat, there is no way he should have been anywhere near the 40 minute mark, so Spoelstra needs to take a bit of responsibility for not giving his main guy enough rest.

Great to see Patty Mills make a solid contribution, but I guess the thing that irks me the most is that all the Heat fans now think that they have an excuse for losing Game 1, instead of giving credit where it is due to the Spurs outstanding 4th quarter. Wake Up to yourselves. If you are relying on one player that much then you deserve to lose. Besides, even with Lebron out there, I don't see how the Heat would have won Game 1 with the performance that the Spurs put up in the 4th qtr. It was practically flawless basketball, 14/16 from the field including 100% from 3's. No team can compete against that, with OR without your best player.

Is he sponsored by Gatorade? Don't get it, maybe it's too early.... Lol

Anyone see the comment LeBron made to Duncan during the game? Something along the lines of "gotta give ESPN something to talk about".
Not sure what the context was but sounded like an odd comment to make with all the hooha about LeBron's cramps.

what i dont get is all the talk has been about James and his cramps.................... ok i get it , it would hurt like hell , But the spurs won so go the spurs !! well done timmy dee and his team that work extremely well together . come on the spurs , a true team that have stuck together over some hard years.

That Ray Ray slam was awesome.. seeing him get up like that shocked the sh1t out of the whole world!!! haha

Both teams had long stretches of bad play.. both offensively and defensively.
39 combined turnovers.
Both teams had trouble closing out on wing shooters.

Wade played like '06 wade 1st half (8/11), then like '13 Wade in the 2nd. (1/7)

I think the no a/c and 30 degC affected both teams the same. Some moronic adolescent Heat fans saying they might have done it on purpose... *smh*
Yeah, like you'd do that to your own team and your fans... *slap*

Bron just had some serious cramps happening. I haven't felt those in a long while, but yeah, I remember its pretty debilitating. I'm sure he'll be better for Game 2.
Lets hope the a/c is also.

Yeah it's silly to say they would do it to their own team also. Yeah cramps suck I remember playing in a tournament and get cramps in the last game couldn't even jump 4 inches off the ground.
