Official 2013-14 Playoffs Thread - SPOILERS!

Calling it now.
Thunder to take game 7 in OKC, but lose to spurs in the West Conf. Finals 4-1.

Spurs vs. Heat in Finals. There is no way Indiana will pass the Heat unless they have a meltdown of their own.

Heat 3 Peat.

What a comeback so far.

I am REALLY impressed with Steven Adams of late.
If he continues, I bet they will kick Perkins to the curve.

I've had all series right as well except for 2 so 10/12 so far, I've had the following wrong -
Raptors and Brooklyn (I had Raptors in 7)
Bulls and Wizards (I had Bulls In 6)

Woooooooohooooooooo!!!!!!!

just sayin @drobfan8 ;)

Let go of the Hate Adam:)

Ha ha.

I hate all the complaining about refs, so it's my turn. That CP3 offensive foul was a DISGRACE to basketball. This is why we'll always have problems with refs. Because they follow a book and not how people actually want the game to be refereed.

I thought the Clips got screwed again. But they have plenty of faults of their own. BG needs to give up trying to take charges, the one on Wbrook where he got the block, he should just stay straight up strong, that there is enough to force a miss. No need for him to fall over.

This is the first time I've EVER felt that maybe Wbrook is more important than KD. Seems like he can get what he wants. Obviously has some learning to do, but he's been impressive.

KD was a stud in this game. Starts off 1-7, but still finishes 12-22 and was a one man wrecking machine in the third going on a 9-0 run in 70 seconds. My prediction was for Spurs to advance over OKC and I'm sticking with it. Coach Pop is going to take Scotty to school and I expect him to kill the head of the snake by stifling Durant and letting OKC beat them with everybody else.

I really hope the Spurs roll Okc, but they haven't even beaten them for two years in one game.

People call out Brooks all the time, but here he is again, back in the Conf Finals.

I'm terrible at picking Spurs results, but if Okc keep getting the run of calls they have been, then they'll be fine.

ECF My Pacers vs Miami!!!

WCF OKC vs Spurs!!!

I would love to see the Pacers give Miami a hiding which they're capable of when they play great team D and move the ball on O...

But it will likely be Pacers giving Miami the red carpet and playing terrible and they'll be always fighting to stay in games...

Pacers would have to do no wrong to win the series, while Miami could afford to take a game off and still be in it...

The Pacers have been down and have fought back to claim what was rightfully theirs!

A shot in the ECF to beat the Heat with home court advantage!...I have faith! They will need to fight for their lives, but it can be done!

OKC vs Spurs....

The Spurs are the Spurs, they'll do what they do, I just think OKC has an aura about them this year and could pull off a dream run to the Finals...

But, anytime a team goes up against the Dynasty that is the Spurs, nothing is ever easy or certain...

In other words, I have no idea what's going to happen, just glad to witness such great teams and players...
Please don't let Miami win, please don't let Miami win, please don't let Miami win....LOL

OKC will shoot their way in to games as well as shoot themselves out of it. They rely way too heavily on individual shot making and outside jumpers with little movement and if you watch their offensive sets, they just run simple screens and get the ball in KD or Westbrook' hands and then it's about their talent to score in half court sets and that's on Scotty. Doesn't adjust their offensive schemes. Spurs know how to treasure each possession and take a quality shot from it, regardless if it goes in or not, they play good high iq basketball. If you get down by 16 points against the Spurs, you are not getting out of jail for free.

If OKC was the Gus Hansen of basketball, then Spurs are the Phil Helmuth equivalent. Gus will get up with some ridiculous plays and look absolutely brilliant and lose his pants with the same style. Phil will usually make the high percentage play and will be patient to get a better spot to make a move.

Yeah, this is the EXACT reason why I didn't want OKC in the West Finals. They don't play team ball. I don't think that can win a chip. They have immense talent, but I think they cannot win.

In saying that, they are really amazing to watch when they're on, almost unstoppable when Wbrook is getting to the hoop at will and KD is knocking back long range jumpers.

I just think the Basketball gods will pull them up short again.

Yes that's all nice, but in the real world Phil gets his head kicked in the second he opens his mouth on the court....so..

No love for the Pacers? They are in the ECF, even though it was the ugliest second half of the season I've seen...

Blue Collar = Hard work, Tuff D, playing together, overcoming being down and fighting back to win...

Gold Swagger = Team not playing together, no D, no effort, no focus... PG running around after hitting a 3 in the 1st like it was the biggest shot in history... Crying to the refs after every play. That side of ANY player makes me sick to my stomach...
