have been waiting for a card from wa for over 2weeks, then today the tracking number says it arrives. so i go down to my po box a few hours later and nothing there. so i go back home and it says it was picked up 1 hour after it arrived. i ring up customer service and they say it was picked up and signed for by someone else. they gave me a last name but thats it and they will look into it.
so i thought i would go back and see what they say at my po box and all they say is that they didnt receive it and we dont make mistakes like that.
in all that time i have been talking to the person i traded with and was assured that all my details were correct.
so someone has a unredeemed 2009 jonathan brown captain sig and all i can do is cop it on the chin.
so if anyone sees one for sale can you hit me up.

thanks for looking.

it was registered post with tracking. the name they gave me that signed for it was A.Martin
i feel they put it in the wrong po box then they let them sign for it without checking ID.

funny enough, Australia Post to do guarantee delivery of your mail, registered or not. They have little terms and conditions that leave them a loop hole in the event it does not show.

I had mail registered, sent express from Hong Kong. The card arrived in 4 working days... except not to me, to the same street name in a suburb 20 minutes down the road and I got their mail in its place. Luckily, as i had some of their mail and a signature that said they signed for it we were able to do a switch. It cost me three figures $$ the item inside so lucky it worked out. Customer service wrote to me and told me it was impossible that a mistake such as this could occur and that I was wrong in thinking it would... Except it did, as I went to pick it up myself.

they wouldn't say if they had a po box or not and wouldnt tell me if they were a customer or not.
they pretty much said just deal with it.

Sorry to hear that, although unlikely hopefully you are able to recover the card.

Similar thing happened to me just today. I had a card sitting in the post office for nearly 2 weeks, no attempt of delivery was made (i happened to be outside doing some work when the post man rode past the day he was supposed to deliver it), so obviously there was no card left. Before I was even able to explain any of that, I was told it was my fault for not looking in my mailbox or not making my mailbox accessible to them (they have no idea where I live, how would they know what the mailbox set up is?), and mistakes like don't happen (they must be trained to say this). As far as they are concerned, attempt of delivery was made...except it wasn't lol.

If I hadn't called them today, the card would have been returned to Belgium end of this week.

Their prices continue to go up to apparently make their service more efficient, clearly it makes no difference.

lucky you got hold of it. i also think thats there standed answer, they also said the tracking system isnt always right due to someone scanning it in travel. seems weird when the scanner says what location they scanned it in.
i also check my po box everyday.

What idiots isnt there someone you can speak to to make a formal complaint against autralia post thats higher then them fair enough if its a $2 card id let it slide but a card worth triple figures is worth going as far as you can with it considering they have proof it wasnt signed by you either

i spoke to customer service on the phone, who are investigating it, and also spoke to the "manager" when i went down there and all he said is that we don't make mistakes and we must have not received it. tracking must be wrong.
i tried telling them that customer service even has a name and could they check to see if they have a po box and go from there, all he said was sorry has not come here so no mistakes were made.
i felt like punching him in the face and checking the computer myself. they dont even want to find out what happened.
if nothing happens in the next week i will be going over there heads to the ombudsman

Yeah was very lucky but I shouldn't have to do their job for them. If the tracking system isn't always right, why do they always rely on it then?
For overseas mail at least, they don't even use their own because it doesn't have the capability to track international mail, incoming or outgoing!

I didn't get checked for ID either so I could have been anyone for all they know. All they asked for was my address and that was it. 9 out of the 10 people they employ are rude, lazy and incompetent.

keep pushing it back through the support number. They will give you a complaint number and follow it through.

got a call from the post office today and was told that it was in my box and i got a huge apology.
so finally in my hands is a 2009 jonathan brown captain signature redemption card(unredeemed).
i am just happy i to get it and have it resolved.
maybe it works to keep putting complaints in.

thanks to you all for the support.

I recently had a deal with A1CardsAndGaming, after paying for the cards, Terry told me it was sent in that same week. Two weeks past and no cards in the mail. During that time, my mailbox has been extremely quiet, very few letters, not much happening at all. I was also waiting for a copy of the March Beckett to be delivered.

So the current status is, no cards (3 weeks since deal was done), no Beckett (3 weeks late now), feeling pretty disappointed with all the mail not showing. Someone helped me check for fraud, like mail redirection without my knowledge but didn't find anything suspicious.

have you tried contacting your post office to see if they can do anything?

You think that is bad, this isn't card related and just as much the fault of the old owners of my new (well not so new now) house.

We are still receiving their mail after living in the house now for over 1 year. Now this may sound like a "Oh yeah that happens all the time" scenario, but when the previous owners had mail redirection to their new address, we still received their mail, and I'm not talking about just one a week, sometimes 2-3 letters a day!

Sometimes I begin to wonder if Oz Post employees just decide, "You know what, I don't get paid enough to make the mail go through properly this month"

Apologies to any hard working Aust Post employees on the site who are proud in their work BTW.
