ESP NRL Traders 2014 Thread - Checklist Added (Pg 18)!!!

Cronulla only ever got 1 high end insert from select and that was the 2004 capt signature which all clubs got so please i wouldnt be complaining about not getting one insert from the Indigenous sub set that will f***ing do me
As a fan of the game I would much rather have a focus on the best players not this club equality rubbish that seems to be a major focus of these subsets. Also my club is represented in the Indigenous sub set so it's not a complaint on that matter, but it has attracted my curiosity.

Come on mate - except for the legend signatures you have slammed this entire release.
Is it so bad to want to see the best players/moments in the league represented (Return to Sender and Magic Moments)
Or see guidelines put in place for future releases (Milestones and Retirements)
At least that way if your missing out on your club you are getting players who are the best or have achieved something not a random who was the best at their club.

You must be a Rooster or Rabbits fan are you?
- Not every club has an indigenous star...
- Return to Sender seem to focus on Wingers, Each club usually has at least 2
- Retirees are retirees... regardless of how many games they have played, Or who they play for.
If they retire, they retire... What other conditions do you suggest they adhere to?
- 50 Games is a Milestone, As is 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 1,235,046,274....
- A magic moment is in the eyes of the beholder, And everyone remembers something different!!
(Roosters fans Roosters highlights would be winning the GF... My Roosters Highlight was watching big Sam Burgess run over the top of SBW
in Rd 1)
Yes some teams had hundreds, some 10, some 1... Why the hell would they have 20 cards featuring Roosters highlights from the season
- When there are barely any Rooster collectors? Parra haven't had many highlights in 30 yrs... But you try find a rare Parra card for sale!!

How does there need to be guidelines for a retirement card? :D... It's pretty straight forward!!

Mate, Get a more productive way to spend your time....

Yes someone retires they are a retiree but there may be a fringe player who may only play 40 first grade games cause they keep getting dropped back to the feeder side. By guidelines make it something like cards for players who have played 200 first grade games which I'm sure all the retirements players did but I would suggest there was more than 16 players who retired last year.

I rarely write on the forums but read most of them. Please for the love of god just drop it. I don't think you have been collecting league cards for long by want more big names on the first release and not knowing who the Sims brothers are, you probably don't watch league much either. It was somewhat amusing at first reading your comments but now its become annoying and frustrating trying to understand what you're getting at

Every Retiree that has been given a card has been a worthy recipient, spent large amounts of time in first grade and done the hard yards for their teams. They all absolutely deserve to have a card and I think this is one of the best insert concepts ESP has brought to the market. It was a shame they had to devalue them last year, because they would have been a great 1:72 series. I would love the cards to be signed in future series to mark the achievement for the player and also create some nostalgia. Petero never had a signature card, but deserved one...what would be better than collecting a signature card that he signs off a great career with?

As an aside, thanks @Matt26 for including where to find the checklist in the thread title, it has saved a lot of mucking around.

Jeez that was hard work. Just wasted ten minutes trying to make sense of the last 20+ posts. Very annoying when I wanted to read some sensible feedback on the latest product.
These bits of coloured cardboard we pursue are "Footy Cards", nothing too sinister or earth-shattering about them. They're just for lookin' at, don't read too much into them I say, just collect and enjoy. ;)
