Older School Upper Deck

For a long time now I have been looking for an older Upper Deck product to collect as a side PC and was wondering what people's thoughts and suggestions are for the following releases and which they would recommend:

2007-08 SP Authentic
2007-08 Artifacts
2007-08 Chronology
2008-09 SP Authentic
2009-10 SP Game Used

Chronology & Artifacts rock IMO, would love to put together both but I'm not quite up to it at the min

You are just saying post-lebron years. They had some nice stuff before that like retro, legends, the emergence of spx and spa.

Chronology or SP Authentic if price is not your concern. Keep in mind that Chronology contain very thick card stock though (even for base cards) so make sure that you get he correct size of toploader/magnetic holder if you are going for that product.

Price is a bit of a concern so not sure about the Chronology??? I see there isn't much of it around either as can be expected.

Price is a bit of a concern so not sure about the Chronology??? I see there isn't much of it around either as can be expected.

I don't know how much a box of 2007-08 Chronology costs in Australia, but in the USA, it's around USD$450 last time I saw online.
If you can spend around that amount of money on a box, then price is most likely not as a big concern to you, and as other members said, Chronology is the way to go.
I myself won't buy though, as I am not a fan of super thick card stock.

Im not going down the Chronology path for that reason. Its a shame but rare old stuff is way too expensive. Its a shame collecting is becoming so expensive these days. It really does make it hard when there are so many releases, so many parallels and the simple joy of collecting is getting lost

07/08 is probably my all time favorite year purely due to 07/08 SPGU, Ultra, Chronology.....
