With regards to Bennett, I feel sorry for how bad this dude has been playing. I guess mostly because everyone knows he shouldn't of gone 1, now that he's out of his comfort zone playing a different position, out of shape, and in front of everyone as the no.1 pick, he's got an INSANE amount of un-deserved pressure on him.

With regards to Bennett, I feel sorry for how bad this dude has been playing. I guess mostly because everyone knows he shouldn't of gone 1, now that he's out of his comfort zone playing a different position, out of shape, and in front of everyone as the no.1 pick, he's got an INSANE amount of un-deserved pressure on him.

Interesting thought on another forum -

We could have had Noel instead of Bennet, really gone for the tank, pick up Wiggins/Randall/Parker/Exum in this draft and been in a kick ass postion to sign free agents. Instead our GM has no idea how to draft and we got someone that is shooting 27%and made just 32 shots in 29 games

Anthony Bennett will be the first 1st draft pick to not play in the rookie vs Sophmore game except due to injury.

The Cavs on the other hand are in a great position to sign some stars. 32 million on the books, 9.8 million Team option of Varejou, so could easily be 22 million, waive, Earl Clark and Alonzo gee and save another 7.5 Million, down to 15 Million in signed contracts. Leaving room to Sign Lebron and a few other stars...

He looks like a man sooo low on confidence

They should give him more minutes than Clark or send him to the D-League to get time playing

They phoned in their choice 15 minutes early to draft HQ that night – and haven’t wavered. (By the way, if Bennett somehow weren’t available and the Cavs kept the pick, they likely would have taken Ben McLemore, who went No. 7 to Sacramento.)

At the same time I am not sure how much confidence will actually help him. He is a good player at his best, but still not worthy of a #1 pick.

Well i don't think Mike Brown will change the rotation up so if anything it could get worse

It would be such a shame, the Cavs has just about "killed" him as a player. Only thing imo would be a role player at another team where he doesn't necessarily has to start, but gets minutes, plays a solid role and contributes.
