COMC Mailbox Thread

Yep, Look, If you are getting around 20+ cards sent to you, they will come in penny sleeves, in a cardboard protective box with bubble wrap inside taking up any left-over space. Pretty safe really.

Just pay top-loaders for all your $20+ cards I'd recommend. :)

For the first couple of months I was being reimbursed for the top loader fees and the cards also came in top loaders. However I had to let them know exactly how many, and what cards were in top loaders in the photos. Which itself is not only time consuming but not entirely accurate, since some of the cards have already been removed from the top loaders when they took the photo. This is not anyone being shady by any means, but more so, they perhaps did not anticipate this to be a big issue.

As a result, around 30% of my cards did not have top loaders. Now I'm willing to bet a very low percentage of sellers would not send cards without top loaders these days, so even though COMC tried to do right by me in those instances, it was not completely accurate.

Since then, I've had to pay for top loaders.

To me, it is not even the issue of using new supplies or anything like that. It is the principle. The money we paid for S&H from the sellers include the supplies. And yet we must re-purchase them again? That's not right.

My current mailbox batch has around 150 or so cards, a lot of Flawless, Immaculate, Exquisite and NT in there. 150 X .25, that's an extra $37.50US I have to pay if I choose to add top loaders for every card.

I think its because mailbox submissions are treated exactly the same as regular COMC submissions, so all toploaders etc must be removed so they can be mass scanned

I had a redemption arrive at my house from panini in a one touch magnetic.

Same card (different numbered redemption) arrived at comc and has been pictured in a top loader.

So they even take cards out of one touches. Bit funny really.

I don't think they would bother to take it out of a one touch then place it in a top loader for the picture haha

More likely that Panini were just incosistent

Well I fly back home from work today... Just checked the COMC delivery tracking advice and looks like it arrived at home with the wife yesterday!
Which is excellent news with the trade day 4 days away!

Paid express for 105 cards which cost a phenomenal USD$100 for 7 days door to door.

Makes sense that Panini put it in one touch to protect it for international postage but just used a toploader for within US postage.

This is my second delivery, the first was 130 cards. Theres been a LOT of deliveries! hehe

There is about 50 or so cards purchased from COMC for my base set chases though.

Here's an example of COMC deliveries. Albeit, this is what I'd call a 'bulk' lot.
Packaged VERY safely, and I'm very happy with this, my second bulk delivery from COMC, as I said above.. door to door in 7 days.

i received my first few orders from COMC this week, first was 200 cards in top loaders really well packed the second was for 150 with top loaders but they forgot the top loaders :( but COMC refunded me within 12 hours so all was good in the end

I don't mind paying for the toploaders - they are new and fit the card perfectly. Last thing I want to do is have crap looking toploaders lying all over my floor and needing to source the correct new toploader size at home.

Had my cards processed today. Anyone know if they put the cards back in the one touch holders when they ship?
All of my cards that arrived in a one touch have been removed from them

I'll follow up with management here and see if there's any progress on this - sorry for the lack of communication on this matter, hopefully we can get some answers soon. Thanks for your patience.
Hi Moe, quick question, I'm looking to possibly get a Kobe auto sent to my mailbox, but the card in question is a Kobe Flawless encased auto, ie it's in a sealed one-touch from Panini.
Is there anyway to make sure it doesn't get removed from the factory holder on arrival to you???

can anyone help me out here i ordered from COMC And would like to know roughly how long it takes to get to Aus, Perth in particular.

Thanks, UncleBlue
