That Bennett rumour was doing the rounds in Newcastle a couple months back. I remember Ben Ikin was asked on the radio about it at the time and he said Wayne is not interested in rebuilding the Broncos at this stage of life and the Knights contract takes him to 65 when he will retire. Cant see it him walking away from the biggest pay cheque in the NRL.

RLW_Mole news in League week today we can confirm Peter Mata'utia has signed a 2 year deal with St George Illawarra #NRL

Another one I heard today was that Pearce and Farah came to blows the last training session before origin 3. The story being told is that it was over who would be directing the play during the game but it was actually over something Pearce said about Farah's late mother. Interesting!
