Bit too far DK, They may finish with no points, but wooden spooners are classed as the team with the least wins! And luckily its the eels again.

he he he you heard it first 2002 bulldogs saga all over again what a waste of a year playing for nothing !
record membership and some great performances on the field, not really that much of a wasted year. I think the Eels, Tigers and Dragons would be battling it out for the biggest "waste of a year" by an NRL club.

Hang on this makes the top 8 interesting if that is the case. Opens up another spot for all those teams trying to squeeze in if that info is accurate.

Scott Prince is Goooonnnnneeee, Just announced he is retiring as seasons end. Can't really say I'm disappointed, his ego is way to big. Had some good years with the titans and I use too think he was great so cant complain too much I guess

Was under the impression he still had a year to run on his contract?, bet he was pushed and they will sign him up as some sort of coach...
Probably pushed into to clear that little bit in salary cap they were payijg him.

Were the titans still meant to be paying part of his wage next yr too?

Did have a year to run and was told by the Broncos they where more then happy to keep paying him next year but couldn't guarantee he'd be playing first grade regularly so he has decided to retire it seems. Won't be working for the Broncos next year.

Well what if you paid him out to get him off the books and open up cap space.

That's not really fair.
In that case it's not fair.

But prince hasn't been paid out and was told he had a spot at the club next year albeit probably in reggies so he chose to retire on his own free will.

If this counts , I had the chance to have breakfast with Prince and the boys after there game against Parramatta this year in Sydney and Prince looked out of sorts even at breakfast? The complete team were all hanging out and I noticed that Scotty was by himself so I went over and chatted to him for around 20 mins and he told me that he could not get used to the Broncos structure and he was not digging the whole Broncos thing? There seemed to be alittle friction between him and the whole Broncos team even at breakfast so I am guessing Scotty was on the outer way back then.

Doesn't sound right.

Princey and Parker are best friends and Cozza and his family often stay at Princeys mansion here on the Coast. he is also pretty tight with Thaiday, Hoffy, Hodges, Benny Hunt, Glenn and Macca. There was a lot of friction between him Wallace and Norman though. Wallace didn't get on with Benny Hunt and Macca either which was part of his demise at the club.

All I was saying that Princey was by himself and not hanging out with the rest of the group which looked a little strange to me? After chatting to him few a while I thought he was one of the better guys to talk to as he was really nice and down to earth. To be honest with you I really wished that he stayed on for another year as over the past month his general play and goal kicking have been outstanding. As for the Wallace thing I am glad he is leaving the club as I have never rated him as a playmaker and now without him for next season the Broncos will only be better for it.
