Nznrl Box and Starter Break

Just to keep the conversation going, I have bought 18 of the starter packs and only had 1 pack without a hit. Scored 1 Gold ff, 5 silver ff's, 7 ar's and 5 tt's, but no sigs

Okay box 3, I'll open one from the NZ distributor this time. If I get another sig from just one of my next boxes I'll be beating the odds. Fingers crossed.

All the foils in that last box were swaps so there is obviously a pattern in the cards you get in some boxes. A couple had peeling foil, but overall this is a release of high quality.

I now have busted 2 Maloney foils and they are both damaged and peeling in the top middle?!?! Has anyone else had this problem with his card?

There are definitely a few different 'types' of boxes. One of mine was identical; absolutely nothing until a gold in the last pack

Box 5 - Another trash box

3 in a row without a sig; it can definitely grind you down. I feel really sorry for people who have nothing but these boxes. I'm definitely missing having a top prospect and predictor. But can't complain - not behind on the odds so far.

Last box now. I think I will be a bit disappointed over all if I don't hit sigs in this box given the sigs I have received have been lesser lights. Fingers crossed...

No cigar. Met/beat the odds, but busting through $550 of product for no sigs at the end there is not the nicest of feelings.

On the plus side - just two insert swaps in six boxes

I'm just about to test my Starter Pack luck. I like the idea that they are a bit more random, but that there is a guaranteed insert in each pack. People seem to have done well out of them.

I have in front of me $300 in Starter packs, having not busted a sig in the last $550 worth of product this may be where I'll call it a day. Here goes...

Was just gonna post that! I bought 2 starter packs as it was all my local newsagent had left and got one TT out of the whole lot

Really?!! Total assumption. I have opened 8 starter packs of three now and received an insert in every one - just assumed. I though because you have a one in 3 chance to pull an insert they would load one in each to keep people coming back. Guess I'm wrong, thanks for the correction
