Seems like it has been ages since release. Still waiting for my six boxes, but my 3 Starter Packs arrived today.

Starter #1 - 1 Sandow TT

Starter #2 - 1 Parker TT

Starter #3 - 1 Carney TT, Tautau Moga #82

Seems like the Starters always throw out something in this release. I'm sure all the odds are the same, but buying starters appeals to me from now on.

From what I've seen and pulled personally, at worst, for 3 packs cheaper than 3 loose packs, you will get a Triple Threat which is good value to start with.
Personally Ive had a few with an Aussie Rep (1:18) and 1 with a Future Star (1:72)
I'm actually toying with the idea of hitting as many newsagencies in the area as I can find and just buying up Starters instead of risking another box...
Damn good mojo for those starters.. I hope you have as much Mojo with the boxes

Yep, and I really like the feeling that it is totally random. It takes me back to the days of buying packs from the dairy as a kid, when you kept going back trying to find those 3-4 elusive cards you needed for the full set of commons!

I didn't realise there were hitless starters out there! Hmm that changes my theory a wee bit!

I fell for the starter packs in the traders set. My first pack was a souths young gun, I mst have bought another 30 of them and only got chart toppers and retirements

My 6 boxes and albums arrived today. Thanks to Digeze who packed three boxes expertly for the long trip over. I will be opening them very slowly over the day/night. I've got to admit I have a bit of trepidation.

There have been no Slater sigs in a while, hoping for that as I already have Inglis, Gallen and a few others on their way over.

Box 1 (From Digeze Case 2 B6)

Packs 1-8 - Fensom TT. ...I have an ominous feeling already!
Packs 9-16 - okay spoke too soon on the ominous thing - Sezer TT, Smith & Scott AR, Cartwright #034, Shillington #031 (Seriously - how many of these Shillingtons can possibly be left)!
Pack 17-24 - Kingston, Sutton TT, Roosters FFS, Broncos FFG

Well that went well . I can relax a bit more for the others and get excited now I know I have hit at least once.

I see what everybody means about the quality of these cards. I find the commons really plain and dull (great for IPs), but the inserts are amazing - especially the Australian reps.

Will take a break now and sort my common set into the album - I treat this as my once a year birthday so will try and prolong it as long as possible

Just to keep the conversation going, I have bought 18 of the starter packs and only had 1 pack without a hit. Scored 1 Gold ff, 5 silver ff's, 7 ar's and 5 tt's, but no sigs

I have had at least one hit from every starter pack so far;

From memory 9 starters for 5 x TT, 2 x AR, 1x silver FF and 1 x league sensation

Okay I'm killing it a bit

There seems to be a trend of cases having both Shillington & Myles.

Now if I had started a case this way I would probably be a little disappointed, but I have my 6 boxes spread over 3 cases and that was my last from that case - 5 hits from 2 boxes Feeling very, very lucky right now, but have lots of empathy for those that did not get hits - at least those from Digeze's case 2 can console themselves in the fact they did not miss out on any bigger name sigs that could have been in the case.
