Personally I would have preferred someone the Cats already had in their coaching team - Shawn Dennis.

I agree 100%. Shawn Dennis would have been perfect if we were also keeping Lisch, so maybe a wholesale coaching change is the best thing anyway. Gleeson is not necessarily the worst choice, and hopefully he has a little bit of input now on the selection of our import guard (I presume).

I have seen that Kevin Lisch has signed with a French team, so while it was expected all along that this would happen, it now makes it official.

Heard Adelaide 36ers offered a low amount to former import Craig Winder.

Somewhere around the $60-80k range.

They are looking at Gary Ervin but believe Ervin wants too much.
