What would you go with...I would really on want to get a box...they are around the $460 mark for 1 box
I like last years retro too.
Depends what you are chasing. Last years retro has awesome inserts as well as bron/mj autos. Good odds per case. Exquisite has awesome odds for MJ/Bron autos, but nothing else if you don't pull one.

Watched a few box breaks of this product and apparently and the people were saying tons of Bobby Orr and Kelly Slater - not sure on the odds of pulling each player but if I walked away with a Ladon Donovan auto for $169 I'd be pretty distraught, then again chance at an MJ! ...and it does look really cheap!
I was one of the NO's mate! I just can't bring myself to go after a college uni auto! Regardless who it is!
UD is thrashing non NBA Jordan autos lately and you can watch some sell for <$300 nowadays!
Exquisite guarantees a MJ per case from memory, hence the recent flood!
I get that you want something different to Panini. I am getting sick of all the different products with sticker autos in them, but if I was you, I would look at buying some older boxes of UD. Do some research and find something in your price range with an equal chance at an MJ or Lebron but in NBA uni. Also make sure the big hits aren't redemptions too!
Obviously it is your choice, but I still think people are buying the recent UD products out of spite of Panini or because of what they used to be, instead of taking them on their actual merit!

because when you buy a sealed case you get 'guaranteed hits', but you won't on loose boxes.
The boxes could be searched, you will never know, but if they aren't, you could get 2 case hits in 2-3 boxes??
Honestly, I can't say that I really LOVE any single release. Most releases have some inserts, autos or patch sets that I like, but may have a lot of junk packed in the boxes with them. If I had to choose, I would probably go:
Panini - Gold Standard, Totally Certified or Preferred
UD - Probably 07-08 Premier or Chronology. But I never got to bust this, I am more so basing it off singles I have bought!
