Ended up blown on the 70million new gary payton cards from retro that just popped up today. Always happens, saving cash for a certain card then all these pc cards come up when you havn't bought one in weeks.


Anyone else getting overcome with their pc players cards from retro?

Wow I am more surprised you hadn't bought a pc card in weeks... Payton has featured very heavily in the new releases this year! I completely agree I try to go a week without something I want popping up then as you say, Boom there is like a million new cards on the bay! I do have mixed feelings on the retro stuff this year though, I will hold off for now but that is only because I cant afford them all.

Funny you say you're not feeling it this year. For me its the opposite, they look like they made a bit more effort to get the finishes right ( especially the lenticular cards ) and I like they used different bg effects to the originals on the legacy's and pmg championships.

I did say mixed... I like some of the designs and the fact they found some different pictures to use and I agree the lenticular cards look quite good. I am probably more disappointed with the autos than anything, the stickers... and this isn't upper decks fault but but Penny's auto is starting to really look bad. I don't know if he has just had enough of signing or what it is but half of them don't even look like he signed them or he was half drunk at the time! Again not UD fault but detracting for me none the less.
