Have we found out if these will be available in newsagents as well?

The product range including (Card Packs, Albums and Starter Kits) will be available at selected newsagencies nationally, via NRLshop.com and participating hobby and collectible retailers .

I dunno about this set not selling well. I'm planning on buying three boxes ... the most I've bought before is one box. I reckon with an average of a real good hit per box they will go pretty quickly.

Good question - forgot to ask. I was more trying to think of what i could say to get my hands on one.

We were talking to Robbie O'Davis and he said Dynamic used to do the same thing.

I had a million questions i wanted to ask Terry.But i was still fuming at ESP so i thought it better to say nothing.


Robbie told me that as well....... But I did notice when he was signing my cards the Fatty's Fun pack card he had a good look then turned over a read back of the card before signing, that made me think he had not seen that one before, but as usual i could be wrong.

Thats a really good idea...... Having spares if any players ask.
Would also help in obtaining future signatures.

Well they apparently sold out for the release...but then the next week another 60 cases "Just arrived via boat from China" is what they told me.....they got snapped up within the next week too. Of course, with the way that JHL/Select was set up...if you had the right name there were ways for you to acquire some when others couldn't.

I think that they (ESP) should offer replacement cards for players like Soward as he has gone to Super league & no longer in NRL & also Ferguson if he is sacked by NRL. Also if any players swap clubs etc. idea would be to send in one of the cards eg Soward & ESP replace it with a different Dragons player they choose to make as the replacement card & have it numbered the same as Sowards. Don't know if its psychically possible to have individual cards sent to printers but would think it shouldn't be too hard.
Anyone else think that's a good idea?

Its an interesting thought. For Baseball at the end of the year they release an update set that will have the card of anyone that has changed clubs throughout the year. I like the idea.

Depending on who you are and your relationship with the distributor (Steve) that will decide whether the product has been sold out or not.........is it wrong, heck yes it sure is.

This is the most excited I have been about a release in ages. Also Robbie O Davis told me at the newcastle show that his kids have wrecked a fair few cards and he has given a bunch to young nephews over the years.

I would imagine that a lot of player cards that get given to them for free by ESP or select are not valued by the player or looked after. Also if you are not active in the hobby you would not know what these cards are worth.

These players are not desperate for money these days so i would think many of them get given away by players and teated as toys by their kids and nephews.
